Transformers Animated Season 2 Airing in the UK from 26/05/08

Transformers Animated Season 2 Airing in the UK from 26/05/08 Transformers-Animated-Ep-17---
Good news for my fellow UK based fans tonight! Transformers Animated's second season, which begins with the episode titled "The Elite Guard", will begin airing on Nicktoons next Monday, May 26th, at 4:30 pm. Even better is if Nicktoons airs all the second season episodes daily, UK fans will be able to enjoy "Autoboot Camp" on Thursday June 6th, two days before YTV airs it in Canada, and the season finale, "A Bridge too Close" may then air on Thursday June 12th, unless Nicktoons edits the two part finale into a feature episode as they did with the season 1 finale, Megatron Rising.

Just saw an ad for the second season of Animated on Nicktoons UK - the season starts next Monday, the 26th.

As a point of interest, that would mean that, if the show airs new episodes daily (and there's no reason to think it won't - indeed, it may even air them on weekends) the UK will overtake Canada on the week after next, airing "Autoboot Camp" on either Tuesday the 3rd or Thursday the 5th of June, several days before YTV, and there's only four more after that. Of course, they might edit "A Bridge Too Close" into a movie-thingie the way they did with "Megatron Rising," so it'd be hard to guess when THAT would be on.

Time to set up my video too. And preferably get a hookup between the TV and my computer so I can do some resource section updates on the fly. Too bad I'm at work when most of these are on.

Actually, we would get those episodes EARLIER, as NickToons will continue airing during the weekends.

well, there are some who are efficient enough to encode dr who and Avatar when they air before other countries.

I'd do it myself but I have no way of transfering the epidsode from my skybox.

Season 2 starting & we still don't have figures from season 1

No it doesn't

I've got a DVD recorder, so who knows, maybe I'll get the thing figured out and transfer it to my computer and go from there. Though I make no promises at all.

When does it actually air on nicktoons? I've just been downloading as i go kinda thing...

4:30 in the afternoons on Weekdays, it used to be weekends too but it seems to have been removed from the weekend lineup altogether.

At the moment they're airing Animated at 9am on weekends i believe. They've been doing season 1 repeats at that time. Don't know if that's to change from Sat 31st May tho'.

question...why does transformers get virtually no publicity in the uk...my son is the only kid in his whole school that watches animated!! i think this is incredibly sad...all the kids just watch crap like ben 10 (wtf) and power rangers (even worse!)

because it's on a crap TV channel I guess. Don't you have to have the best Sky package to get it?
