Transformers Animated Happy Meal Promotion is the next McDonalds Toy Promotion HMOp
G1Wheeljack of our 2005 Boards has reported that the McDonalds Transformers Animated promotion will be the next Happy Meal toy after the currently running Kung Fu Panda promotion. It will be running alongside a My Little Pony promotion so there will probably only be half a dozen Happy Meal toys made, including the previously reported Happy Meal Optimus Prime (pictured) and Megatron.

After going to my local Wal-Mart hunting for Animated, I stopped at McDonalds to get a snack. I then noticed that the bottom of a happy meal box where they say which toy's next said none other than Transfromers Animated. However, it also listed My Little Pony, which figures as TFA is more of a boy toy than unisex which unfortunatley means that we'll probably get only 5-6 Transfromers, so apart form Optimus & Megatron who've been confirmed, i'm guessing we'll be getting Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Starscream and maybe someone elselike prowl, Ratchet or maybe Lugnut.

Unfortunatley no, but It'll probably be a few weeks, they just started a new toy line for Kung Fu Panda, I think it might be sometime around when Animated's official release date was.

Mabe there will be some coupons for discounts in the real toys like there was in the BM toys way back when they had them. Scary that I remember that from when I was little.

I never buy McDonalds except for those low-fat ice cream cones when it gets REALLY hot. But the toys, you can buy them by themselves for a dollar each, instead of eating their food. I did this with the Bionicle MC toys earlier in the year.

Next month is my birthday, i'l get Mom to get me Mcdonald Prime and Megatron and they have to better than the movie burgerking-fomers.

Hopefully with my Little Pony as the girl promo, Professor Princess will be too distracted to destroy the TFA side.

I wonder when we'll get to see what the other toys look like...

For those deriding McD's for the food...let's face it, it's the parents choice to do it. And now that they offer the fresh apples instead of fries, and milk or juice instead of soda, my kids can eat just as healthy there as they do at home. I plan to get all of 'em myself- the ones that I've seen pics of look pretty good.

FYI, genetically altered apples with increased sugar amounts. And the milk/juice contains as much or more sugar than the soda. Did you know that a salad at McD's has just as many calories and glucose as a Big Mac?

Let's not fool yourself. Your kids aren't EVER eating healthy at a McD's. Certainly not as healthy as they could at home.

In any case, these toys will soon by lining the Goodwill bins by the hundreds, so no need to go to McD's to get them. Give it a couple of weeks and you'll be able to have as many of them as you want. (It's how I found all the movie ones, Cybertron ones, and I even found Thrust from Beast Machines' McD's toy that way, just recently.)

Basically a hamburger happy meal is the equivalent amount of nutrition and calorie an average adult meal is....
