Transformers: Animated Deluxe Toys Out In Canada TFA-sighting
Wave 1 deluxes of Animated toys have been found on the shelves at Wal-Mart in Ontario, Canada. Long-time board member RandomFerret made the discovery, so this is for real. No word on how far-spread the release is yet, or if it's just in Ontario only. As soon as we find out more, we will be sure to let you know, so stay tuned to TFW2005. RandomFerret:
The first wave of deluxes are out on the pegs at Canadian wal-marts (or at least mine). Photos to follow as soon as I find a way to get them off this stupid phone that only does stupid bluetooth because I lost the stupid usb cable.

EDIT: Photo!
Peaugh:
First I've heard of it.
Anti Spark:
WOW!! Pics!!

Oh and Hurry!
General Tekno:
What?

More confirmations, and soon!
REDLINE:
worst case scenario you can EMAIL it to yourself! hurry so I can attach it to the FP
General Tekno:
Give details on the where, too!

I realise it's probably in Ontario, but still.
Optimus Scourge:
Good news for Canadian fans!
MaikeruSan:
Hasbro, I despise you!
Brawlastator:
Damn you Canada with your bacon and your syrup and Transformers Animated toys early. I want them so bad without the little "not for sale" written on the side.
tusko:
Bring it on!
Maximus Prime:
I was in the North Vancouver WalMart today and they never had any there, but when I go back tomorrow I'll check to see if they got a weekend shipment.
General Tekno:
Odds are there won't be anything out here.

But I can drive now. And have been wanting to check out the Supercentre for some time.
mirarage:
Well, i guess we now know the canadian test market.

Ok, hasbro. How about if the next test market is the north american continent. Followed quickly by the UK, australia and every where else.

A toyline only available on ebay just isnt working for me.

Glad to see another area physically get the figs. It means there's hope for the rest of us.

Maybe hasbro will up the date at botcon. (not holding breath though)
RandomFerret:
Location: Eastgate Wal-Mart
City: Hamilton, Ontario
Date: April 11

I signed myself up for a new gmail account, configured it to use imap, configured my phone to use those settings, sent it to my OTHER gmail account, signed back into that one, saved the attachment, tried in vain to sharpen the blurry image in photoshop, uploaded the jpeg, and edited it into the original post.

The things I do for you people, I swear.
Dark_Rage:
That's sold in Hamilton? I think I know which members bought off the rest of the figures, lol.

Looks like Wave 1 is out, whether it's accidental or on purpose, Canadian TF fans can enjoy them!
Paradigm-Shift Prime:
Whoo-hoo! Hopefully the early releases will spread!
Anti Spark:
Im so going tommorow to get these!
honcho:
First Ohio, now Canada?

Go in the middle and show up in Michigan already!

you know you really did it to get that shiny News Credit point.
Kickback:
US street release date is 6/24 on the boxes.
grayfox:
That's great news! Hopefully a worldwide release is next (as in sooner than June 22nd!) In the meantime, could anyone post the UPCs? That'd be awesome.

Pah. If I cared about that sort of thing, I'd be petitioning for retroactive news credits from before the news credit system was in place.

I just want to do spread the good fortune, do unto others, all that.
Team Jetfire:
Yay!

I mean, Boo they are not at my WalMart, but yay for RF!
SarahMobius:
wtf... hey, how about RI as a test market? I could freakin WALK to Hasbro if I wanted to...
shortround:
i need to call my bro
Anti Spark:
Amercians complaining about not getting a TF Line first!

Let us have SOME Fun for once!

Whooo Hooooo!
Bumblebee78:
I remember us getting the Cybertron line early also.
Deceptigtar:

snappyjacks:

Amen sister!

You'd think Rhode Island gets special early-releases because Hasbro is located there but noooooooooo.....we always get stuff later, last, or never, unless it's a big nation-wide release thing like the 2007 Transformers movie figures.

On one hand, I thank Hasbro for helping me not spend my money at least until June.

On the other hand, I lose a little more interest with each passing day.

Either way it makes me sad in pants.

I think hasbro is strange in the pants! We should raid the warehouses! Get our animated, one ech of course (dont be an asshole) THEN BURN IT TO THE GROUND! I am having insane (aka galvatron) TRANSFORMERS WITHDRAWS!!!!!!!! NEED ANIMATED *fetal position*
SoundMaster:
Okay, now I'm angry.
I am really looking foward to these toys. Why can't hasbro release them here already! First ohio, now Canada! GRRR!!!
Soundblaster1:
So if I said "I call test market" here like I did last week, would I be listened to?

Eh... They'll get here when they get here. And either way, I won't buy anything until my damn Play Rewards certificate shows up.

Calm down kiddo, I think Hasbro is just spreading their big releases across the year rather than have them all hit at once.

Look at it this way:

April/May: IRON MAN
May/June: Indiana Jones 4
June/July: Transformers Animated

People have seemed to have forgotten that we still have the Premium series, along with the beginning of Transformers Crossovers in the Transformers release pipeline.
SPLIT LIP:
YEAH!!!!

I'm very excited by this news!
netkid:
Hey Ferret,

You guys don't happen to still have regular 2007 Leader Primes do you?

I only ask because I see a deluxe 70's BumbleBee and Brawl in the pictures with the Animated figures.

I see lots of Megatrons and Bawls, but only the odd Prime.

I think this is Hasbro's way of making up for shafting us for all the other series in the past fifteen-so years.

im not losing interest but as weve seen images of wave one in great detail for months now i'll admit i'm getting a bit jaded. kids on the other hand will have seen virtually zero but may be wondering why they cant find bulkhead anywhere yet amongst BB08 and brawl.

I miss the days of the super-secret Hasbro warehouse shop.
