Transformers Animated Brawn Animation Model Revealed brawn
S250, one of our friends who has provided us with a great wealth of information about the upcoming third season of Transformers Animated, has posted the animation model sheet for Animated Brawn on his blog. Hot from S250's blog, it's TFA Brawn in both modes! Too bad the pic is kinda small.

Looks like an easy transformation, even from the sketch. Unfold legs, unfold arms stand up.

Hopefully he doesn't turn into another Armada Hot Shot.

The similarity to Bulkhead only strengthens that theory going around that Rodimus will have a crew that parallels Optimus's (Bulkhead=Brawn, Bumblebee=Hot Shot, Ratchet=Red Alert, Prowl=Beachcomber). He might look dumpy, but I get the feeling that THIS Brawn isn't going to be G1-short, and will probably be big, Bulkhead-size.

Another one of my all time favorite TF characters making his way into Animated - and he looks AAAAAWESOME! Almost exactly how I imagined him to look.

Cannot wait to hear Burton voice this guy again.

Very G1 like the rest. It's interesting that he has tank treads for his back wheels.

Talk about 25th Anniversary. TFA has such has great diverse cast of characters. I love that there's Strika and Blackout, Blackarachnia, etc. Brawn looks good, if his personality is the same as G1 it will fit his model well.

I really hope he is like his G1 character, he was such a joker and loved the way he was the one who always seemed to take on Soundwave (and win) before Blaster was introduced

Actualy, most cybertronian cars got some kind of tank tread.

Maybe in the future, we'll have tank BMWs!

Totally amazing, I love it. Brawn is my favorite of the mini-cars, and this stylized rendition does him ugly-justice!

Love the design. A little squat, but a nice homage to the G1 character. Agree that there's a TFA Snarl vibe going on too.

Transformation does look ridiculously simple though.

So, is Brawn part of Hot Rod's team, which is rumored to make a short appearance, with most of the group having little to no dialogue? Hoping Corey Burton will get a chance to breathe life into this bot again.

It was Beachcomber that was rumored to have little to no lines. Not the entire team.

Weird that the line art of Red Alert's vehicle mode that S250 gave us just a little while ago never made it to the front page.

I hope they keep him small. So he can retain that short/small guy complex that's always a good opportunity for humor.

Imagine him making a grand entrance and transforming, tossing out a verbal threat then having the camera zoom out and it turns out that he is only up to Starscream's waste or something. Then he proceeds to kick the crap out of everything.

I can't believe it took this long for someone to say what I was thinking when I first saw the pic. This just screams Gears, the face looks like Brawn but even the bot kinda looks like gears?!?!?!?

I like that they start out quite in the animated forum, but once we figure out who it is. I like more people knowing about it.

Like the first puzzle that turned out to be beachcomber.

Some of the previous designs really blew me away, like Beachcomber and Hot Rod.

I'm not as crazy about Brawn. I guess he'll do the job, and I don't really have any objections. It does look like Brawn. It's really down to the characterisation whether I'll like it or not.

Red Alert's alt mode is more appealing. Makes me think of G1 Ratchet for some reason. It's definitely interesting, though the wheels are a bit of a head-scratcher.

I like your thinking. Only he'd probably only be up to Starscream's boot, given the existing Autobot/Decepticon size disadvantage.

That would really work for me. I hope they cast the crew like that.

It'd also be very cool if they did 1 or 2 episodes where the Rodimus crew take center stage. Might be a good way to show what else is going on in the TFA Universe.
