Red leader:
Keeping up to date with the not quite so interesting tie ins for the japanese animated we now have the Beyblade inspired Animated Battle Wheels as seen below.
Price point is the same as beyblade and the release is May 2010
G1Wheeljack:
Not up my alley, but I'm glad Animated's getting new merch for it's Japanese release.
ninety:
Damn it, more useless tat featuring three characters I collect. Bought, bugger it.
DrillBIT:
Beyblade's sales topped Transformers' in Japan last few years.
theestampede:
reminds me of those power ranger battle top things we got back in the 90's. I think I've still got some of them somewhere

That's exactly what I was thinking. I remember getting those things back when Power Rangers were still awesome. Ah, good times.
Shark Jumper:
I like how Japan keeps trying to hide Megatron's Season 2 look.

Ditto.
And as Shark Jumper said, it's odd that Japan isn't revealing Megatron in his earth form for some reason.
BaltMatrix:
Makes me think of Beyblade. Is that show still going in Japan?

No. But
Beigomas have been around for centuries LONG before Beyblade introduced them to the west so its not all that surprising.
MekaGojira3k:
Eh, sort of care less. I wonder when this will start airing though.
baggzey23:
oh gawd not the gayblades
dragonlord2200:
these remind me of those crappy bk beyblade toys from a few years back
X-Brawn:
Can anyone read Lugnut's Japanese name? I can't see well enough to read it, but that is waaaaaayyyy too much katakana to say "Lugnut" (Raa-Gu-Naa-To/Tsu)

Also, I think Takara's going to be surprised at how little Blackarachnia has to do with the Decepticons after the pilot...
Honestly, I always thought that were there to be a Season 4, Blackarachnia, Waspinator and whatever other organic transformers they could muster would form a third faction. (Predacons?) Not quite Decepticons, but not quite Autobots either...
Backscatter:
No interest at all.

GAUGE0001:
Not the return of the POGS...NOOOOOO!!!!
[insert nerd rage here]
drago_tear:
wow realy battel tops
prime13:
-_-
Well, at least there isn't a show about these, and the main characters motto is "let it rip!" Stupid geyblades.
Kouri:
I somehow doubt these are going to be sold at the current Metal Fight Beyblade price point actually. These more so resemble the smaller plastic beys that are currently sold in capsule machines. The launchers even look to be near-identical. These'll probably only be found in the sort of coin-operated vending machines you'd find outside a market.
PG13:
I find it intersting the launcher or holders or whatever the hell the things on the bottom are say Autobots and Decepticons and not Cybertrons and Destrons
Chaos Muffin:
Look like buttons.
< will make a coat

They are gashapon/capsule toys indeed. The price Red leader mentions is probably for the set of 10. (There's a listing for ¥2413
here).
Shizuka:
Go! Dragoo- I mean Optimus!
matsuri:
Animated to Beyblade. This is Japan!!
AnnEEm:
DO WANT! I use to be such a huge fan of Beyblades, now THIS?! Awesome on so many different levels. Too bad I stuck over here in Canada with no credit card...
