From what I'm seeing
Shockwave gives HAL 9000 vibe more than Megatron did when he was a head.
The two jets look sweet.
Swindle will be the Decepticon Bumblebee
Wreck-Gar, Blurr, and Mixmaster want me to see the epidoes which feature them even more.
Warp and Cracker are the least interesting ones. Probably because they might not be in the show

I can't wait to see more of jetstorm and jetfire. I love all the homages but the new characters in the show have been badass (sentinel prime, lugnut, bulkhead)

I love that they'll combine too. I hope they do end up being able to combine in robot mode. Give them and the constructicons a powerlinking feature (without the option of switching between legs OR arms) and that'd be some good fightin'!

Any confirmation if Jetfire is a girl or not? I have a strange feeling 'she' is. And this would then make the combining gimmick a little....naughty.

I REALLY want to know what these two characters relationship is to one another. Are they Decepticons? Autobots? An Autobot and a Decepticon who happen to merge? Unaffiliated? Brother and sister? Boyfriend and girlfriend? Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver? Two dudes?

Im shure they wouldnt make jetfire a girl. Another bit I dont see where peope are coming from ,from what I cant see I dont see a femmbot.

edit: Well, now that I've been reading up, seems the Jets are both male characters and are sort of a Dreadwing-style of combiner. Maybe.
I have to admit, I'm horribly disappointed we aren't getting something that turns "combining" into a euphemism for S.E.X.

Corey Burton will be amazing as Shockwave once again. His voice is the only voice that fits.

2 has been confirmed as Jetstorm, and 8 has been confirmed as Jetfire. From what we know of them, they are basically 2 brothers that turn into jets, and somehow combine together (most likely in jet-mode). We don't know what faction they are, but from these little pics it can be speculated that they are probably Autobots, though I personally was hoping that they would be Decepticons.

Not really, they're mounted on the sides of his face like Armada Megatron's, it's just that Shockwave's face, from the front, was all black in the drawing except for his optic.

Swindle is looking very G1, which is cool. Shockwave looks like he's going to be quite a bit different.

Slightly off-topic; only now have I realized that Shockwave is the only Decepticon in the G1 cartoon that didn't have red eyes. It may have just been a single dot, but it was still implied as his eye and it was yellow...but it also glowed whenever he talked...so maybe it was his mouth...

Pretty sure Laserbeak had yellow eyes too.

And Thrust, Brawl, Onslaught, Swindle, Blast Off, Divebomb, Razorclaw, Tantrum, Headstrong, Rampage, Wildrider, Dead End among various other G1 Decepticons that did not have red eyes.

Could Swindle be the source of future upgrades for some of the cast...

Well that explains everything! The pic looks damned weird because CN dude painted backgrounds black and Shockwave's head is black!

Hmm. Thrust and Ramjet always did seem to stand funny. Imagine the fun if they recolored them?

...So basically we're getting AWESOME G1-ish versions of so many favorite characters... And then Skyfire/Jetfire gets turned into some wacked-out, unrecognizable new character that will probably end up most like that cocky jerk Jetfire from armada? Lovely.

Hope someone got that info messed up, or it gets changed before his in-show appearance, or I'll just have to stick with the comics to get any decent rendition of ol' Skyfire/Jetfire. >/

AND I'll be stuck cringing every time this guy crops up on a show I ACTUALLY like watching. Bummers.

I'm all for new interpretations of old characters (Blitzwing is a PERFECT example of a hilarious success at that, yet notice he still bares SOME similarities to the old G1 character,) but considering the theme so far, where they have been sticking with at least somewhat similar looks and personalities for characters with the same names as G1 guys... come on now. Give us a good Skyfire-like Jetfire, plz? :< DO NOT WANT cocky flyboy Jetfire again.

Well, they could always do Skyfire as a seperate character later on.

Though, personally, I'm rather fond of the cocky flyboy Jetfire (but I also consider Jetfire/Skyfire two different characters).

I'll laugh if NOTHING LIKE JETFIRE ends up acting just like Jetfire, and his brudda from anotha mudda Jetstorm acts like cocky Jetfire!

I liked Armada Jetfire. I actually liked a majority of the character archtypes from Armada but they become horribly corrupted in Energon/cybertron.

If he's the only Autobot capable of flight then he's got a pretty good reason to be cocky imo.

Yeah, me too... a shame what they did to half the characters in the sequel series (and what the heck happened to Scavanger?!).

It'd be nice if one of these two act like cocky Jetfire. Of course, if Jetstorm acts like his BM namesake he will pretty much be acting like cocky Jetfire from Armada...

Also, like I said... I actually like the cocky Jetfire persona, because G1 'Jetfire' will always be based on the toy bio and G1 'Skyfire' will always be based on the cartoon version of the character for me. I'd say G1 Jetfire's persona (and the difference between him and nerdy Skyfire) can be found by reading the IDW comics. My opinion of course...

Either I'll be getting them over the Universe jetbots especially over Big Orange Nipple Powerglide.

If the design of them is awesome, I might have to sell Classics Jetfire to get them.

I hope their designs are shown at SDCC, so someone can post pics of them online. Therefore, I can make my final judgement.

Finally!! More Autobots and Decepticons in the series!!! I hope they add giants as well like Metroplex and Trypticon
