Pictures and Summary for Animated Episode 25 "Autoboot Camp" (Spoilers)

Very interesting sounding episode. Good to see what Shockwave basically looks like, but with his disguise head. While it would be cool to have that as a gimmick for the toy, I personally would rather it just have his Shockwave head. By the looks and sounds of it, Shockwave is more of a Sideways homage than the old Shockwave, though he also seems to make a decent homage of him too. Here's hoping he gets an equally cool looking toy (Voyager would be awesome). Good to see Ironhide again. This gives him a slightly better chance to get a toy than if he didn't appear in this episode. BB's friend looks cool. Would be interesting to see a retooled BB toy as him.

I'm gonna be mad if Shockwave's toy can't disguise its head.

Did you see Wasp guy's weapons Magmatron? Is it just a more dangerous looking version of bumblebee's stingers.

Waspinator and his not look like a wasp and Shockwave/Longarm is very good to see him.

yea, when i saw the first pic i went..."THAT'S WASPINATOR!!!!!!!!!!!"

It seemed that they looked pretty much the same, other then that Wasp fired beam instead of bullets.

question: Do we see Bumblebee or Bulkhead transform in the flashback?

Hey Magma, two questions.

First, did Blurr talk in his episode?
Second, how the hell does Shockwave's head get rid of the autobot face? It just disappears in Shockwave mode?

We see Bulkhead transform, but due to the bad static I couldn't get a pic, it seemed like a cybertronian armored bulldozer.

I couldnt see blurrs episode, as it was supposed to be Wrek-gars, but they skipped that one, as for Shockwave, the head kinda transforms, the breathing pipe things split and turn to horns and his head lowers, leaving him with a single red eye for a face

Yeah I figured that, but, in decepticon mode the painted autobot face is still there?
Or it lowers to the point you can't see it anymore?

We only saw the face when he contacted Megatron, so I don't know if his body changed.

I theoretized the breathing pipe/chinstrap thing being his ears before, guess I was right...

And... if his head lowers, that explains the leaked 'mozaic' pic of Shockwave where his eye is at the top of his head. It was made from his Autobot form, and his eye is in the middle when he's a Con. I also bet that after this charade is over, we'll see him in his classic purple colors.

Magmatron, could you understand Shockwave's lines? What kind of a character was he, a 'normal' kind stereotypical autobot or was there any feeling that he's an unemotional machine just pretending to have feelings? Was there any mechanical tone to his voice, like Soundwaves?

And once again, thanks for bringing us such great news!

Couldn't understand his lines, but he seemed timid and BB seemed to trust him with the secret about the megatron's message, but that was just an act to gain trust, its the most logical way to enter the ranks!

Oh by the way, the episode's actiony scene was the laser-cannon-rampage right? How awesome was it? Did Shockwave actualy help his "autobuddies" to look like he was good?

Sigh... he always had an impervious hide. It's in his G1 Tech Specs.

Thanks, that's reassuring! I waited an eternity to see the Marvel version of Shockwave get into a cartoon... the old G1 cartoon version was pretty much Soundwave in purple minus the voice...

Swarlock - True enough! STraxus! Now that'd be cool if he appeared. Then again, Megatron already stole his 'head in a jar' act.

From what I got of the description, it was Shockwave, but Waspy was framed for it, or something like that. If his head transforms from disguise to his normal self like I think it does, it'll look kinda short and fat. Almost like Lugnut's head withought a mouth, and with two ear thingy's. Sounds interesting, though I do hope it looks better in the actual show than i'm currently imagining it as. I have a question, where does his cannon go in bot-mode? I've heard he turns into a Armada Megatron-like looking tank, but I never did hear where his tank-mode cannon when while in bot-mode. Here's hoping we get a cool looking Voyager class toy for Shockwave.

Doesn't the gray tank-looking guy (Shockwave from what is being said) remind anyone of War Within Megatron?

I wonder If we will get two toys A shockwave and a long arm. Or will there pe sum punch counter punch double robot thing. I know he will have his g1 colours due to it was mentioned in a hasbro panell.

Yeah, that's the way I read it. Sounds like Wasp is the red haring, but that Longarm/Shockwave is the actual traitor.

So does this mean Wasp will be an Autobot?

I doubt a long arm toy, maybe as a gimmick, but not the actually a toy only.

you know I'm sure that this Wasp guy suffers a similar accident to Elita One and gets his green "waspinator" form from some organic fusion.

so this is shockwave in 'autobot' mode, i wonder if there is possible homage to the energon toy with multiple modes, so hes a tank, the autobot bot version, maybe he has an honest to goodness 'decepticon' version with his head change and 'telescoping' limbs, hopefully to be translated to the toy.

Shockwave looks awsome, hope he gets a toy.
