Pictures and Summary for Animated Episode 25 "Autoboot Camp" (Spoilers)

Curses! There was horrible static today and so I couldnt hear a single word and there was hardly anything visible! Heres what I could find out.









Summery

1- It starts out with Sentinel chasing the traitor, and after a while they reach a space bridge, which the traitor blast, opening a portal to earth and jumps.

2- The bots on earth receive news of it from Magnus, and upon seeing him BB recognizes him as his old friend, so he and Bulkhead decide to find him, and a flashback starts.

3- It starts with BB staring at a monitor telling the recruits to assemble for the elite guard test, where he and his friend talk about it, we find out that they are like brothers and are made from the same parts, they start talking until they reach the place and meet the other recruits, Ironhide, a new guy whose name I couldn't catch, and Bulkhead.

4-Coach sentinel arrives, and tells them to show him thier abilities, the new guy showed that he could extend his limbs, Ironhide can turn his body to metallic silver form, and when it was BB turn, he showed off his stinger but knocked down a long construction.

5- They start trainings but from here static got real bad, so I couldn't figure anything, but I did see BB finding a lost transmitter and when he saw it, it had a recording of Megs giving the traitor instructions, BB starts getting suspicious of everyone only trusting the new guy, we also catch Cliffjumper(Only briefly giving Sentinel something), Bulkhead trying to befriend BB but to no avail, Ironhide and BB's friend becoming pals, and during the last training someone sabotages the canons and they go haywire and start firing lasers instead of paint, mainly at BB but Bulkhead saves him.

6- In the end, all passed with the exception of Bulkhead, and when BB objected he too failed, which then started their repair jobs.

7- The flashback ends, and not finding the traitor they return to base, and tell the new guy ( From camp) that they didn't find the traitor.

8- We then see the traitor, near the space bridge, and then it turns out he didn't jump, only made it seem so, he then said something I couldn't catch.

9- We then see megatron talking to someone on the monitor and turns out that it Ironhide, psyche, actually it was the new guy, who after reassuring Megatron that no one suspects him, changes his head to Shokwave's.

Lol at Sentinel's arm in bandage. I wonder who the Bumblebee lookalike is. The bot with the tank treads on shoulders is obviously the "new guy"/Shockwave.

Sounds interesting. Animated is really becoming one of the best Transformers shows we've had.

So the grey guy in the pics is Shockwave in disguise?
Heh, like the way his real optic is the red dot on his fake face's forehead.

So... the plot thickens... and, yeah, looking at the Autobot with the tread arms I can definently see how his head transforms into Shockwave's and I totally get the Armada Megatron homage people were talking about from his design.

Does Cliffjumper look much like Bumblebee?

Bumblebee's buddy made from the same parts? He's blue and yellow? Hi Glyph (complete with gender change)!

Yay more Ironhide!

You know... I really like BB's friend's design (close to BB's, but different enough to be his own character). I hope he gets a toy if he continues to show up... especially if he's a new character created for Animated.

Also, in the cameo of Cliffjumper... is he just a pallet swaped BB or does he have some distinguishing features of his own?

Ironhide shows up again... and he does look like he could be an easy retool from Ratchet given the chest design (cowboy with a bear gut? ).

His horns were bigger, like G1, that the only thing I remember right now, he was different, yet similar.

Cool. Easy repaint fodder for Hasbro than.

At the animated q&a they said shockwave will have a different color sceem at 1st but it will change in the show and for a reason. Looks very interesting 1st swindel then shockwave, the other dude and cliffjumper oh yes. We want more.

also with the knowledge of ironhides ability we can really begin to assume he didnt die in blast.

There's something Waspinator-ish about BB's buddy. The way the head looks plus the banding on the legs. He just might be.

Good observation, especially given the crest on his head. Very Waspinator-ish.

Hey, you're right! I think his name started with W, but due to static and horrible dubbing,nothing clear. His mouth also moved up and down like waspinator, only that it dose not split in half.

so based off his colors, is shockwave nemesis prime?!!!!!

If he changes his form in the future due to whatever, though, he could always colors ala Elita to Blackarachnia.

Not to mention his MOUTH. It's the same joint mandible look Waspy had as his jaw. Notice how he had no mouth on the yellow.

So Waspinator's the traitor, and Shockwave's the double-agent. Cool, though dissapointed it's Shockwave. Hopefully he does a little size change so he's not so tiny.

You solve one mystery - the identity of the traitor - and get another, although this one seems to be mostly solved thanks to the character spoiler thread.

Guess the body-mate is Waspinator, and Shockwave's Autobot alter-ego is Longarm, which would fit the information that he can extend the length of his limbs.

Animated is the best TF series so far O_O
this show seems amazing, with all the cameos and characters, it just has a massive appeal to me that I can't for the life of me put my finger on. seems that we will get an Ironhide fig and I really hope we get Waspinator and Shockwaves "Longarm" form

Heck, BB's friend's head looks totally like Waspinator! The same facemask, waspy-like eyes... I bet he'll somehow end up being Waspy!
But if he wasn't the traitor, why was he running away in the first place?

And Shockwave being in disguise... I never saw that one coming. I can totally see now that his 'chinguards' are actually his ears and his eye is the red dot on the forehead. So apparently he can also strech his limbs, hmm... Very intriguing.

So many new characters, this is going to be easily one of my fav. episodes...

Ironhide's power ROCKS. Becoming invulnerable, like Steel or Colossus... fits him well!

So can I just clarify that there was both a 'traitor' in the form of the blue and yellow waspinator looking guy as well as the grey tank turning out to be Shockwave the double agent?

Shockwave is the double agent? Interesting, and yes I know it's not G1, but I was kind of hoping for a more traditional Shockwave role. Extendy-arms? Really?

Though his altmode and colours do bring to mind another TF "traitor", which IDW is making use of currently. I wonder if the TFA guys ended up doing some last minute switcheroos so their plotline wouldn't be to similar to the DoubleDealer subplot in IDW?

After all...based on his design, his powers, and his colour scheme (and his sycophantic behaviour, if you follow the toon canon), wouldn't Lugnut be a much more "logical" Shockwave?

Waspinator as BB's "mold brother" eh? Another wrinkle.

So with Ironhide, I guess that means that now he has to visibly "activate" a power that he's always had normally.

So so that dude is the "Wasp" mentioned at the Wal-Mart computers as a deluxe class toy!
I guess the last wave gonna be all second season guest like Blurr, Swindle, Wasp, Shockwave, Contructicons, Wreck-Gar and whoever else shows up .

Awesome, love Wasp and Shockwaves design. If he's made as a voyager (or at all) it would be cool if we could have the disguise head as well, as a gimic.

YES! I KNEW IRONHIDE WASN'T THE TRAITOR!!!!!!! Ahem, sorry about that, anyway sounds like a great episode, we get to see CJ & Shockwave as well as the return of Ironhide, I can hardly wait.

Interesting, I think Bumblebee and Bulkhead's time at boot camp in this episode was what he was referencing back in the "Elite Guard" episode when Bumblbee mentioned to bulkhead that Sentinel did not recognize them. Nice bit of continuity there.

Wasp is perceived to be the traitor, but in reality it's Longarm/Shockwave.

Animated really is getting good, and looks to be even better.

so i would rate this as my third fav show behind G1 and beast wars it is amazing!!!

Bulkhead's Cybertron Mode...could that be the deluxe Bulkhead, if there is in fact one?

Awwwwww, Bumblebee failed because he was defending Bulkhead. No wonder they are buddies.
