 | | | Official Images of Transformers Animated Halloween Mini-Puzzle 12-Packs | | Posted on 09-25-2009 at 01:37 PM by Tim Formas | TFW2005 has received a hi-resolution image of a new Transformers Animated product that will be out in time for Halloween. This new item is a 12-pack of Transformers Animated mini-puzzles (50 pieces apiece) that feature Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, and Bumblebee. Hasbro is soliciting the mini-puzzles as a great alternative to handing out candy this Halloween! Little Junior may be getting more than just mini-sized Snickers bar, lollipops, and cavities this Halloween in their Trick-Or-Treat bags!
Check out an images of the packaging, showing the puzzles, by clicking on the thumbnail to the left.

They even make official photoshopped pics of random merch?
Fantastic.
Nice they are taking the "Give out something other than candy" approach at least.

Though those autobot symbol pops were a high quality sweet. Very cherry.
I honestly think these 50 piece puzzle packs are kind of neat, but Its not something I would be willing to give away. Only the cheapest candy will do for trick or treaters. Melster's Peanut butter candy and Smarties are my cheap favorites.
grimlock1972:
kind of cool sad thing is 90% of them will be thrown away with out ever being opened as the kids want free candy and just that, not puzzles, not pencils, not granola bars, the only other acceptable thing to most of them is money, they will take what they are given of course but if they don't like it its never gonna be touched other than to toss it in the trash or give away to someone who does
Riltht:
Gonna have to find these, not for trick-or-treaters, but for me Otispq:
Ooo, these will be lots of fun for my son and I to put together...sold!
Feralstorm:
Sigh. I always cringe whenever that stock illustration of Optimus Prime shows up. Even the worst show animators on their worst day rarely did something that bad.
Mister Gone:
These are great if you are running low on eggs and toilet paper at your house.

These would be just like getting presents with their candy. Big kids are the jerks about such things, and not really the demographic for the item anyway.

--Moony | very true color books would be another exception and some kids have been drilled to show proper manners and as such they act all happy when they get what they get and complain later, but yes the little ones generally are happy with any thing its the older kids 7-12 that get real picky
eTalking:
for some reason 'all treat, no sweet' irks me.

I'm gonna buy 7 packs of these and throw the pieces at the people in the food court at the mall, from the balcony above...
Spongezilla:
I'll probably get several packs if I can find them (I couldn't find any of the plush bucket last year). I like that Screamer.

These would be pretty cool to give to the kids in your family or immediate circle of friends, I agree with others cheap candy for the regular Trick-or-Treaters! Spongezilla:
Has anyone seen any yet? The only kind my Walmart had was the ROTF Candy Mix. Are these only going to be sold a one place or what?
