This is our first look at this redeco of Activators Lockdown! Here is the new wave of Animated Activator from tformers.com, Megatron & Grimlock, which we saw at SDCC, and a repaint of Lockdown named Bandit Lockdown

Megatron's face is too dark(the rest should be darker and the face should be lighter) and no fusion cannon? Grimlock looks cool and looks like he has the same mouth gimmick or just an opening mouth

I'll definetly be getting Megatron and Grimlock. Bandit Lockdown on the other hand, will be an easy pass for me, though I will be getting the other two Deluxe versions of him, to go along with the origional one I already have. I'm going to rename them Mirage and Sizzle, and make them brothers of Lockdown. Here's hoping we get some non-vandalized versions of these pics.
Edit: Good to see some non-vandalized pics. I wasn't origionaly going to get any Activators, but now that I have Bumblebee, I actually like them. There are at least four more of them that I plan on getting:
-Grimlock
-Cliffjumper
-Megatron
-Ramjet

Still not interested in the Lockdown mold. Megs looks decent in robot mode though.

Megatron and Grimlock are actually pretty decent for their size, but that third one is just HORRIBLE!

I wasn't a big fan of the activators til I saw em at SDCC. Grimlock and Megs are must haves, Lockdown on the other hand, I'm still not sold...

Megatron & Grimlock look nice, but I expected more from the Lockdown repaint(no poncho=  ).

Missed G1 Homage opportunity . They should have swapped the colors on Megs head to give him a white face and black helmet.
I like Bandit Lockdown but not his toy. Had these colors been used on the Deluxe repaint with the chainsaw attachement, I'd buy it in a second.

Prefer Bandit Lockdown's deco over Blazing Lockdown's.

Wow, very nice! I'm impressed with Megatron - no fusion cannon, but overall a very nice figure. Grimlock looks terrific, too. Lockdown looks a bit too chunky, but I may still get him. I'll pass on the bandit version, though.

What's the deal with all the TFA Lockdown repaints? Did hasbro think he was gonna be a huge breakout character that fans would love. Well they may have been right but I feel like activators lockdown is the worst one of the whole bunch so far. Megatron and Grimlock, on the other hand, are pretty sweet looking IMO
EDIT: Yeah Bumblebee has a ton of repaints too but that's expected at this point. More seekers please!

These looks good. The only "meh" one is Lockdown. Megatron is rather cool, the lack of a fusion cannon does not bothers me.

And Bumble bee and Lockdown have the same amount of repaints, but Bee has more figs (Legends)

I don't like Grimlock's hands, but I gues it's not too bad.
I wish you could take the blades of Megatron like the leader version
either way both of them are going to be finding new homes at my place.
But Lock down, I'm not fond of this repaint or of the activator version of him. might get the orignal paint, but think I'm passing on this repaint.

Grimlock looks awesome. Possibly the best activator to date. I just can't wait.
Megatron, pretty decent - bot mode great, alt mode, not so great. Probably a buy just the same.

that grimlock isn't impressing me. the only thing I'm seeing about that megs that's nice is that they didn't make him knock-kneed. not sure why they could get that one right for a sub-deluxe springloaded figure, but couldn't get it right for the $40 bells&whistles version...
kinda liking "bandit" lockdown though. the colors look good for it. reserving final judgement for the moment though.

Megs and grimlock are all kinds of win. Lockdown really needs to just stick to his deluxeader figure. That activators mold is just all kinds of ugly. His deluxe mold though repaint all you want. He rocks. Especially if each one has new weapons! His activators mold blows chunks though, I'm sorry.

More seekers please! | I think it's because of the relativly small cast size, and that Hasbro are more focused on making the show's cast rather than randoms who don't appear anywhere since the show is rather prominent.

I fully expect that most of the molds will get repainted at some point whether they are crap or not.
And I think Activators Bulkhead is worse looking than Activators Lockdown although I own neither of their molds.
