yeck. Even if I didn't alreadly dislike Magnus mold for it's ridiculous shoulder joints (or lack thereof), that totally lazy head would have turned me off. Good grief, that's a major drop of the ball. It looks really pathetic.

Wow, I was wrong... it really is going to have the blue parts. I wouldn't have believed it until seeing it in package like this.
All I can figure is that they were trying to retain some of the traditional Ultra Magnus deco in there.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree that the blue bits just ruin the hell out of Magnus there...a shame, because I actually think it's quite an interesting colour scheme aside from that.
It's also disappointing to see those Jetfire and Jetstorm images surfacing again...granted, they're not quite as miserably mistransformed as Animated Shockwave was on his official stock photo, but they still sell the toys way short...

Well, that confirms it then. Blue head = NO PURCHASE. Honestly, did they think that it looks good? Or was it a matter of "Well, if we paint his head to match then it will be TOO Roadbustery, and since it's Road Buster Ultra Magnus the blue head will prevent any confusion." I wonder if there's a different head out there that would work well with this mold. Grr...

EG BB the pics all over show a yellow head but once you open its black and actually matches, so while I aint a repaint nut, I'll bet its not gonna be blue

What they should've done is given him a completely new head and then just called him Roadbuster. I'd much rather have an Animated Roadbuster then another Magnus painted like him. But, what do I know?

I'd take any sporting a visor instead of the visible eyes. That would have been excellent.
Keeping the same head mold with the same blue colors is double pathetic.
