Nice to get confirmation on Arcee, I'd pretty sure we knew about all the others, though.

We knew about them, but I think this is the first pseudo confirmation that Shockwave will be a Voyager (yay!) and that Swindle will be a Deluxe (boo!).

No, we had confirmation before that Swindle was a deluxe, at the same time we got news about Waspinator.
The news part of this is that Arcee is a deluxe. I think (but I'm not sure) that Shockwave was confirmed somewhere as a Voyager. Maybe said at Botcon, I dunno.

Shockwave and Arcee are new to me, but it is always nice to have confirmation of other toys who have only been mentioned in other computer listings up until now. Looking at you, Wazzzzpinator.

Ah, fair enough. I thought the sizes of Swindle & Shockwave were just speculation. I must have missed the news amidst the overload of BotCon updates that flooded in around that time.

Ohhhhhh Skywarp! Arcee...as a car...that will be nice! I am very excited about Blurr and Wreck-Gar! Wap and Swindle will be nice once I see them I'm sure. And hell yeah...a voyager Shockwave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whenever these come out they will be hot ass waves! Can't wait!

This is awesome news. hopefully this means more plans for Arcee in S3. Shockwave as a Voyager = hells yes.

Sounds awesome, but my wallet is NOT happy. This is all news to me, but not everyone else, so my question is this, what else Animated is there coming down the line, is there a list of upcoming bots?

Sweet, with the way all of the slim figures look so far in the line. I can't see arcee being anything short of an amazing toy.

Here's hoping Shockwave has a Longarm Prime alternate transformation with the humanoid head and non-stabby Freddy Krueger fingers. As a Voyager-classed figure there's GOT to be room in the budget for that gimmick!

Arcee is bound to be pure, unadulterated fantastic on an awesome stick.

Glad there's some more confirmation on Swindle, Blurr, Skywarp, and Wasp(inator).

When?! Whenwhenwhen???

There's a lot of speculation that Ironhide & Cliffjumper could become toys since they briefly appeared in the show (likely just being repaints of Ratchet & BB but with new head molds), multiple Starscream clone repaints have been confirmed to happen, a re-release of Prowl w/ sidecar armor has been confirmed, a redeco of Lockdown has also been confirmed, a redeco of Elite Guard Bumblebee has already been shown, valid speculation of Mixmaster & Scrapper showing up eventually but no idea of size class yet, a 2-pack of twin characters called Jetfire & Jetstorm has been confirmed, a heavily rumored Omega Supreme figure that will likely be a Supreme class toy but has not been offically confirmed yet, and of course, the ongoing hope (for some) that Lugnut might eventually get a Leader class figure the same way Bulkhead did.

So there's definitely a lot more still in the pipeline. Plus I wouldn't doubt if even more of the core cast get multiple repaints ala things like Elite Guard Prime & Bulkhead, G1 colored Prowl & Starscream, so & so forth.

I hope this means all the characters will show up in season 3

So... we know that Jazz, Snarl, Oil Slick & Soundwave are all wave 3. Swoop, Sentinel Prime & EG Bumblebee are wave 4. Swindle, Blurr & Prowl/w Armor were recently confirmed for wave 5 deluxes in the list for Canadian releases of Animated & Universe.

...so I guess that Waspinator & Arcee will be part of wave six... likely with the Lockdown repaint that was shown off at Botcon.

What amazes me is that there still isn't any info leaked out for Scrapper & Mixmaster. I'm guessing one will be a voyager and the other a deluxe, but who knows?

Alright, one clone down, 4 to go.

Please let Arcee be a car, I'm getting sick of that motocycle thing.

all great news except for arcee(bleh). still don't get why she's become a superstar all of a sudden.hope the screamer clones have at least a little difference between them except the colors.

The confirmation of an Arcee figure is the best news I've heard all day. Here's hoping that she's in scale with Ratchet and Lockdown.

Interesting. It's nice to know what size class the Shockwave figure will be, and that we'll be getting an Arcee toy. Out of the two I'll more than likely get Shockwave, but not arcee. As for the others, I might get Wreck-Garr, but that'll be about it. Now that I have my first two Animated figures (Prowl and Lockdown), the line finally feels released. There were more there, but I only had enough money for two of them. That and they were the only two they had that I wanted. It was nice to see that the sale was still going on. I might get Skywarp, then again, I might not.

I seriously hope Waspinator is a error of yours, changing a character's name for the toy? What the heck Hasbro?

Does anyone have a picture of that Lockdown repaint. I haven't seen it before.

I'm being VERY picky with my Animated figures since I'm already a Classics completest.

I have Ratchet and Blackarachnia right now.

I plan on getting Voyager Prime and Blitzwing. Also Leader Megatron and Ultra Magnus. Out of the ones listed today.... Waspinator & Wreck Gar (I'm a HUGE Weird Al fan!).

Yes & no. In bot (Cybertronian) mode they looked the same, but Wasp had an entirely different alt mode. Well, at least compared to BB's Earth car mode that we've gotten used to. Hard to know yet if they'll just repaint the current BB Earth car mold with a new head (which wouldn't make a whole lot of sense imo), or if they've developed an entirely new mold that be like the show - similar in bot mode but different in alt mode. I'm sure if they do that, we'd also then see a Cybertron version of BB as well.

Whatever ever happens, I don't think it'll stop Hasbro from repainting one of them red and calling it Cliffjumper... *if* they even make a toy of him to begin with.

An Arcee car would make me very happy. I'd pick up an extra in the hopes I'd meet Sue Blu at Botcon someday.

For then I will have my Animated '86 movie collection: Arcee, Blurr, Hot Rod, Springer, Kup, Magnus and I guess Wreck-Gar. Maybe.

The design that was shown for her revealed that she has a three wheeled car for an alt mode.

Shockwave better be able to turn into, well, you know who. At the voyager pricepoint, you would hope that they were able to work that into the design.

Hopefully, we get to see these guys at comic-con.
Either on display or in press releases.
Hopefully we'll also see a certain transforming ship whose initials are OS.

Can't wait to see Voyager Shockwave. We never did get at look at his alt mode other than turning into Longarm. Should be interesting.

According to the guys whom saw stuff at the Botcon panels he's supposed to turn into an H-Tank (homage to Armada Megatron or something). I don't know if it was just stated though or if they showed off some pics...

Yup, H-Tank. Show model (not toy pics) was shown. Also, according to Kickback, Shockwave will have 2 robot modes, 2 vehicle modes. Must be why I had already assumed he'd be a voyager, as it would be exceedingly difficult to work that into anything smaller.

And the Lockdown repaint has flames. Nothing "electric" about it, so I doubt that's the mysterious "Electro Static" listing.

This is a mix of win and fail.

Win: Arcee, Wreck Gar, Blurr, etc.
Fail: They'll be shortpacked and come out during the shittiest waves.

Ah, thanks for the confirm on that one. I do remember the bit about Kicky saying it would have two robot & two vehicle modes though. I always took that to mean he'd be a Voyager myself as well. Though, I do feel that the alterations for the vehicle mode would be easy enough to pull off if he were a deluxe... I doubt the bot mode alterations would be that easy for a deluxe.

I'm really looking forward to Animated Wreck-Gar and Animated Arcee! They're both at the top of my list! Shockwave and Blurr are also pretty high on that list too!

I'm also looking forward to seeing the Classics Arcee Hasbro said that they were working on. I wish we could get a code number for that!

I'm pretty happy that it seems like nearly all the robots featured on the show will be getting toys (even though I'll never own them all! ). I wonder how long until we get to see actual pictures?
