That deco SCREAMS Hound, although the black head seems a little strange... Not that I'm complaining, though.
Although I do still need this mold to further complete my Ani. Autobots(Leader Class does not interest me, and I'm only missing Bulkhead and Prowl). Plus, if this is the wave-mate for Blackout, then this guy is going to shelf warm, increasing my chances of getting him!

Also hate that it's still mostly green. If you're going to repaint a bot, at least give it a different main color, please.

Workzone Bulkhead is the name of the Bumper Battler barely-repaint that was only spotted in a VERY limited capacity in Australia. This isn't Workzone Bulkhead.

That question mark must be this repaint because every other wave has two voyagers so maybe this is crazy but it seems logical for this repaint which is probly based off that activator or whatever the "workzone" bulkhead.

the repaint looks ok on the alt mode but really looks all messy on the bot mode. one of teh good things about animated was the general lack of 'invented' repaints (so seeker repaints dont count as invented as such, they are homage). i way prefer teh original scheme with the nice matt plastic.

I think Elite Guard BB or SWAT colors would've been a better choice. Hell, even giving it a red deco like we've seen with the prototype would've been nice.

Interesting, definitely interesting. Not sure I'll get him, but it would be nice to own the mold (never did get the original). I'm curious to see what name they'll give him. I personally would have preferred something... less green. It's a different shade from the original, but still, would have been better with something more different, like the red of the ko version there, or something.

I'm trying to understand the reasoning behind this repaint. If Hasbro really wanted to tie back to the fiction in some way, they could have used one of the DOZENS of paint schemes for Bulkhead used in the Insincerest Form of Flattery comic (from The Arrival TPB), Personally, I would get a kick out of owning Angry Archer's "getaway chariot" or Professor Princess' rainbow colored nightmare. But I'm strange like that. Ha!

But this is a KO anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

There were red prototypes, but this red one here is a ko (which we have seen red ko Bulkheads in the past). None of the red prototypes had any paint apps on them at all.

Seems like this guy is just too close to the original, as others have already pointed out. I wonder what hasbro's plan was with this guy... maybe it's for kids who never got the first version to be able to get a new but similar version now and for completest fans who need every re-color available.
Thanks for the pics either way. This is one mold that I can safely say no matter what color they repaint it in I won't buy it. I have the voyager and leader and I almost bought the activators but he's just too small for me. Give hime a new head and a purpose (an episode with him in it) and I'll think about it

Not a whole lot of success with repainting Animated figs unless it's for other characters such as Seekers and CJ. I guess that's just because the original figs are so damn accurate to the cartoon.
Big pass on this one. Hell, I can still go out and get the first one at about a dozen places near where I live.

Can't say I'm all that impressed. It's really just green with some oddly randomly placed black deco. Seems like they could have done something a lot more interesting with a repaint of this figure.
