| New Pictures of Animated Blitzwing's Tank and Jet Vehicle Modes |

guys, are we SURE this guy's a deluxe here?  SCPrime: without the missile/blast things, the 2 cannons look so short. The nosecone looks like it's fully extended out this time and the rear flaps looks like it's fully extended out too making the jet mode less chibi and more sleek (and better looking) compared to previous pics. And I agree, tank mode should have wing flaps folded down so the cannons wouldn't look as short in comparison Rodentus prime: Tank mode should have the ends of the wings folded down at least. Jet mode looks like it's transformed better. ponn01: Unless thats a top secret deluxe Bulkhead there looks like Blitzwing is a Voyager. From the front view jet mode looks good to me. mordecai6: you know...I want to get this for the sake of completing the collection, but I'm not digging this one as much as the others. Although I agree it doesn't seem to be a deluxe class by looking at the pictures. xSEANxLONGx: Don't Worry Guys when I do my Review of Him Next Week I will Transform Him Right! wipeyourfeet: He doesn't look like a deluxe. If he is he's one huge Son'o'bitch for a deluxe, look at the last picture, he's about the same size as Bulkhead, and would probably make a bigger robot than Lugnut, and as a deluxe he couldn't transform to that size, though Lockdown could.
These pictures make the jet mode look better, but I still think the tank mode is mistransformed, and the gun barrels are short so it doesn't look like transformation can help it. The faces now appear to be this toys only downside, as he may now be the right size. RobotoChan: Meh... those pics show him in a better light than the earlier ones, but I am still not convinced that he is up to the same standard as the other animated figures. snappyjacks: Lockdown doesnt "look" like he is a deluxe but he is. Some of the deluxe figures TF into way bigger bots, Lockdown is taller than Starscream, a Voyager. The Cons are supposed to be bigger for the most part, Lugnut and Bulkhead(autobot) are just short for Voyagers but its the whole mass (bulk) aspect that makes them Voyagers.
Blitzwing's jet mode does look a bit mistransformed but you gotta remember, it's a triple-changing deluxe. Even if it was a Voyager theres going to be more parts and pieces than just a regular figure, probably wouldnt be so bad if it was a Voyager but it would still show to some degree. I like it, not about to drop a wad of big cash on it though. I c an wait on this one till its in a not so expensive range. It's gonna be ten bucks and it looks like it is worth that much. Laser_Optimus: Looks better here.
And, yeah, it still could very well be packaged as a deluxe given how small the tank is. I mean, look at Lockdown... he's deluxe sized as a car, but he unfolds into one of the tallest figures we've seen in the line so far. IT also doesn't help that he's near two of the smallest Voyagers in the line and that he's not right next to them either. You just can't get a good gage on his size from these pics. defstar: What a relief...much much better transformation then we've seen before...though I wish he gave us a side shot of jet mode...he's definitely looking a little better... Dirge121: This bad boy just went from 'Want' to 'Need'.
Voyager or Deluxe, I don't care, just get this thing on the pegs now!
He does definately look more like a Voyager now, both Tank and Jet modes appear to be nearly the same height/length as Bulkhead.
I like how his missiles can either be laser blasts for tank mode, or flaming boosters for Jet mode.
This figure cannot arrive soon enough.
Another home run Hasbro, keep up the good work! Liokaiser: Both alt modes look very good, but I'm loving the front part of the jet.  Devastattor: Meh... let's talk when he's transformed correctly and the photos are better. Otispq: Well I'm getting him regardless, so the mistransformations don't bother me at all. But I would sure like the deluxe price point! Big Filipino: I'm not feeling this. While I'm sure I'll get it for the sake of completing the collection, the vehicles look lousy. It looks like Hasbro made him a a triple changer for the sake of having one but didn't put enough time/thought into making him. ...which sums up nicely how I feel about this toy -- perplexed, like a bunch of question marks. I really want to like it because he is Blitzwing and quite an amusing character on the show, but the tank and jet modes just aren't adding up yet. I'm hoping it's just a mis-transformation. grock35: much better pics...and still lovin blitzy BumbleBeeX26: I've noticed that if you look at blitzwing in robot mode he does appear to have hinges on his main wings. you can even see them in his tank mode Paladin: That's more like it.
Still wish we could see more of the Jet Mode though. Lumpy: freaking sweet...cant wait for him...and i think he's a voyager, just a small voyager... When I get him I think I might have the turrets face the other direction.
He looks backwards to me. Maybe moving his wing tips down will make him look better. snappyjacks: I'm starting to think so too,a small Voyager maybe, didnt see the pics of it beside Bulkhead till just now. All of them except Lugnut and Blitzwing, so I can look and see, its not a whole lot smaller than Starscream, taller yes, and around the same MASS wise. How many do you have to compare sizes with? I have the figures TO compare all the dimensions with, Lockdowns real close in alt mode to being the same size as a few Voyagers in alt mode. Sorry my post seemed to BOTHER you so much.
Thats what I was basing my opinion off of, what the guy selling him said and every other person that he is a deluxe. Beastbot X: Blitzwing does definitely suffer a bit from being a triple changer-- I hope his treads aren't off-center in tank mode when properly transformed, that looks weird.
Not nearly my fav Animated figure, but he's friggin' Blitzwing, I'm picking him up. shroobmaster: Also did I forget to say that I love his jet mode now? Full of coolness! SPLIT LIP: I was double-right. Not only was he mis-transformed (much nicer jet mode here with the extended nosecone, and it seems I was right about the backside, which I really was just guessing at ) but he is deffinately a voyager. This isn't like with Lockdown because he was a small as a deluxe in vehicle mode. Here Blitzwing is the size of a voyager in all modes. Atleast now we know why his helmet is shaped like it is, being part of the jet's "back". (sorry, dunno what else to call it)
Excellent figure. As If I wasn't sold before, properly Transformed he's beyond awesome. Optimus747: If this guy ends up being as good as he looks right now, he might end up being my favorite Animated figure (though Lockdown will be hard to beat). Lord Chumley: The jet mode looks a whole lot better, the tank mode is ok, the front does not seem to be transformed properly. But he looks alot better than the heart stoppingly horrible jet pic yesterday. It has restored my animated line faith Zie: Eh, not digging either of his alt modes and his Bot mode didn't really win me over either. Unless this guy has size on his side, which he won't if he's a deluxe, then I don't see myself getting him. Which is a shame because Blitz is my favorite Triple Changer concept. Having different opinions about toys does not bother me. Someone insinuiting I'm bothered simply be disagreements... hey that is getting into a personal bothersome situation, so don't accuse me of that,... ok? Otherwise this is just a discussion, right? Are you BOTHERED by it so much? Not EVERY other person says he's a deluxe if you read these threads and what Hasbro said about him last year.
Lockdown is bigger than Bumblebee? Umm... yes... because isn't Bumblebee made to be smaller than a standard delxue? How about some other deluxe car mode comparisons?
Lockdown and Starscream are around the same mass wise? Really? What are their respective masses? Can you give their grams? How about the length, width, and height of each in each of their modes? I don't mean that to be snarky about this, but if you have them then such measurements would be rather objective data whereas anyone's general subjective assessment of mass is of course subjective.

Runamuck: Reminds me more of Push-Button rather than Blitzwing. Jet mode is pretty cool, though. Smkscrn GT: His tank mode looks good, if not somewhat mistransformed. The jet looks better here.
