Red Alert:

and for those who love classics/universe like me

Jedah:
Very cool! animated is definately turning into one of my favorite lines and will soon be making my bank manager cry
Sso02V:
We've had those Swoop pictures forever.
soundwaveCA:
Cant say I'm all too impressed with Sentinel Prime.

I have to say, that Sentinel Prime leaves MUCH to be desired.

Swoop, on the other hand is a bucket of awesome, and will be incorporated into my Classics shelf next to Grimmy.

Can it even be said to really "transform"? It looks like you decouple the wings from the arms, and flip down the front half of the beast head. And that's about it.

It looks like "uncouple the wings and swing down, swing down arms, split and raise chest, flip down front of beast head, rotate waist 180 degrees, then do the same for the legs at the knee." There could be more little bits I can't see from those pics. It's not SUPER involved, but it's still more complex than Voyager Starscream's transformation.

sure, I mean, if it requires even a single step, then it transforms. I mean, Swoop has more steps than a typical flipchanger. You have to straighten his legs, fold his wings back, and the dino head looks to have more to it than just splitting along a vertical seam.

Yes,but such awesomeness is easily forgiven for such a minor over site. And Onslaught is a must have.
Railguard:
Eh, he looks cool enough, but a pass for me...my son will love it but I pass.
Pauly T:
That Sentinel Prime may not be the best interpretation of him (even though it technically is as it's the only interpretation of him... so far), but I've come to like the character so much that I can overlook the figure's shortcomings.

This is definitely a case of the show selling me a toy.

QFT! The fact that I have a 6" Tick figure with a sound chip that I intend to install in Sentinel doesn't hurt either. Had he been a voyager, I would've tried to transplant the 6-phrase voice chip from my 17" Talking Tick, but he'll just have to settle for yelling "All in a day's work!", "Mysteries Abound!", "Hang Ten for Justice!", or "Or....maybe not." I wonder if the chips are small enough to stack them inside, and still allow for four different buttons to be hidden inside SP. THAT would rule.
Optimus_Prowl:
I've been trying to figure on what's wrong with Sentinal and I finally got it. It's his feet. In this form they're humongous! On the show he has almost regular human legs. On the figure his feet look like shovels.
AutobotMarine:
I totally dig Universe 2.0... Powerglide looks about as good as Cybertron Wing Saber, not really digging Sentinel though. Though Swoop looks very nice.

Total Cankles of Doom
lookinglasself:
PASS. Sentinel is a douche and so is his toy. He'll be one of the few that I don't pick up.

Swoop on the other hand = AWESOME.
Otispq:
SP looks like a grumpy Sir Lancelot to me. don't like either mode.

Lol. Exactly. Looks like I won't be picking up SP. I love the concept of his character on the show but his toy is pretty badly designed. It could've been better.
plowking:
Plowking...er..I mean...Sentinel will be mine!!

I haven't been this excited about a toy in a long time.....its like Hasbro made him just for me to bash!!
Fort Max:
This is the only majorly dissaponting figure from animated thus far, I could put up with Bulkhead/Lugnut being small because they looked pretty accurate regardless. But Sentinel does not, I wonder if they bit off more then they could chew with his design.

It's only a tenner but I think I'd have to have said tenner in my pocket in the right place at the right time before it were spent on him.
Takara_destron:
While Sentinel isnt the best looking animated figure he'll still be more than welcome in my collection.
Rodr-Evil:
Swoop with anorexia or what lol?? not bad, sentinel.. pass.
SMOG:
Is it just me, or could Sentinel Prime actually make a decent Animated Huffer, especially in light of his small size?

If those plow blades can fold behind his head instead of his shoulders in robot mode (which I think they might), and you removed his "ears", it would echo G1 Huffer surprisingly well. His alt mode is sort of a "working truck", and the colours are appropriate, if not in the right places.

Weird.

Gingerchris:
I just hope Sentinel comes with a spoon accessory and a 'milk moustache' battlemask.
Motor_Master:
Swoop's transformation is about as complicated as the G1 version. Sentinel looks, nice but I'm not thrilled with the weapons storage in vehicle mode.
