Leo Prime - so disappointing. I can see what they were going for, but I'd have preferred a BWII colourscheme. Oooh but he has a new head. Guess I'll still get him.

Not so sure about the lugnut repaint. But the others are great.

Wasn't sure about the Leo prime in animal mode paint job, but like the way it looks on the bot mode.

By the way does anyonme know when we are getting animated constructicons?

lugnut: i love that mould but that colour scheme is a mess to my eyes.

wasp: yes, a new mould and a great looking one at that.

samurai prowl: a worthwhile and honest to goodness upgrade.

wreckgar: now he looks awesome, i cant see to many people complaing that hes not been done justice.

leo prime, sorry, that does nothing for me, good for prime fans though.

dinobot: hes actually pretty good, way better than the original toy.

smokescreen, he looks good but im not a fan of that toy because of the rather weak construction.

shining star out of those, wreckgar. i love the colours and simple sculpt, its like some crazy fisher price toy! it also looks like thats a production sample, well hopefully.

downside, i was hoping that overlord was going to be a return of the armada mould!!

Oh my God, I might have to replace my normal Prowl tihe Samurai Prowl.

I just hope it doesn't NEED the Sidecar.

Also on a side note I think we all can be certain of waspinator's fate in season three.

Dinobot looks pretty good, but I want to see if the henkei is more show accurate. Getting wreckgar, waspinator, and smokescreen. I was hoping for a larger lugnut at some point, I guess I'll have to get the mini voyager one.Did they give leo prime a new head?

Wreck-Gar looks fantastic. He could really use full-color red Autobot emblems instead of the boring silver ones, but otherwise...looks great.

I assume all that stuff that looks silver will be light grey platic on the final version?

Here we go:

-Atomic Lugnut- Looks pretty cool. I might actually get him. The deco is a little weird, but I like it. Especially the shark teeth, atomic symbols, and Decepticon emblems on him.

-Wreck-Gar- Looks pretty cool too. I wasn't expecting something this show accurate. The alt-mode is nice and cartoony, and the bot-mode is nice and bulky. I might get him.

-Waspinator- This finally answers the question of what this guy will look like. He's actually really cool looking. There's a good chance I'll actually get this guy, and I'm not even a big Beast Wars fan.

-Samurai Prowl- Looks kinda cool. Definitely a retool of the original mold. I'll stick with the one I currently have.

-Leo Prime- Not surprising at all, though the deco is a little bit. I was expecting something more white than this. I actually kinda want it. I really like the fact that they've given him a new head.

All-in-all a good bit of news. I'll have to rethink combining my "Other" and Animated collections now. The next year or so will not be a good time to be the wallet of a TF collector.

Edit: Here's some more:

-Dinobot- Looks cool to me, and is a definite buy. The photoshoping they've done to this particular photo makes him look a bit darker than he did in past pictures, but he still looks good. It's also nice to see a properly transformed picture of him. He's going with my Decepicons and Predacons however, so I'll either display him with the Maximal symbol turned around (like in dino-mode), or I'll replace it with a Predacon logo.

-Smokescreen- Looks great too, and is a nother definite buy. Nice to finally see his bot-mode.

-Overload- Bit of a surprise here. I might get him, I might not. More pictures of him will be needed to make a final decision. If he's a Decepticon, he'll have a better chance of being added to my collection, but it's too hard to tell what size he's on from these pictures.

Love the Wreck-Gar!!!

Is Overload a repaint of Dropshot that's a repaint of someone else?

This is it. Nothing can ruin my day now. I've been waiting for Samurai Prowl since forever and I'm glad I passed on his original release so I can save my money for this gem. All the others look top of the line. Smokescreen is another must-have for my Classics, and I'm really impressed with how well Wreck-Gar turned out. His alt mode looks slightly SD and his robot mode is simply flawless.

Too... much... pleasure.... *foaming at the mouth*

PS. Funny, people seem to have misjudged how Wreck-Gar transforms. His kneepads don't form his windshield and his hips don't become his forks. Guess Hasbro threw us another curveball.

edit. i though wreck gar might be a production version but perhaps not, he looks too good, that metallic finish could end up as grey plastic, oh well, hes still very cool though.

They are all nice but I very impressed with wreckgar! I've been waiting for Samurai Prowl & Wasp is greater. Is the side car for samurai prowl the armor or is it a whole new mold.

It's got new modes, which probably means his character will appear on Earth

I caved, I preordered Samurai Prowl and Waspinator. They both look fantastic. Absolutely gorgeous.

Dinobot kicks all kinds of ass. I will probably have to resort to Henkei as they will likely color him more like the show and make his blade chromed, but that finally looks like Dinobot!

I might get Smokecreen too and Waspy isn't bad, but YAY for Dinobot!

This made my day much better. Waspinator looks fantastic. I never got the original Beast Wars Waspinator, so I can't wait to get this.

Alrighty then... my comments are as follows:

-Atomic Lugnut - looks neat, but a pass for me.
-Wreck-Gar: AWESOME! Although a problem has occured to me - where do I put the reprolabel Autobot insignia?
-Waspinator - WAZPINATOR RULES!!!! Sure, the universe hates him but he still gets awesome toys.
-Samurai Prowl - AWESOME. Will buy.
-Leo Prime - so they retooled the head, eh? Huh. Want to see the mold decoed as Razorclaw what with the new head now.
-Overload - Like the deco, but a probable pass.
-Dinobot - SWEET DINOSAUR JESUS THAT IS AWESOME. Hopefully Takara makes it even better. Now that this is properly tranformed it looks godly. I hope Takara chromes the missile though - it belongs in his other hand as a sword (it looks like it has Dinobot's sword detail molded onto it for that purpose).
-Smokescreen - not different than the original pics - still good.

-Atomic Lugnut- Thats...interesting

-Wreck-Gar- Really cartoony. Awesome

-Waspinator- EPIC.

-Samurai Prowl- Little chuppy.still awesome.

-Leo Prime- Kind of dissapointing, wish they wouldve gone with the BW color scheme. Not bad though.


-Dinobot- Just like cheetor, hes a little thin. Dinobots way better though.

Aside from Atomic Lugnut, these are all pretty much pure, unadulterated win.

comparing the new wasp to old BW waspinator its amazing how more sophisticated the designs are getting for $10 toys.

I'm loving Samurai Prowl. That all sorts of kickass. Wreck-Gar looks sweet. Waspinator looks amazing, a must have for me. Leo Convoy looks neat. All in all, well done Hasbro.

Quick question with Dinobot, by the way - I'm trying to divine this.

Waspinator looks wicked as hell... much different than I expected but not unwelcome.

Prowl's weird seeing him so bulky but it works, I'm loving it.

Wreck-Gar... WOW. I love that figure, loaded with personality and for a dump truck I'm shocked how sleek he turns out.

Nice to see Dinobot transformed correctly with the bone armor intact... might wait for the Henkei version, Takara will get the colors right, I dont know why Hasbro keeps switching those two shades of brown!

Leo Prime's a nice surprise, I expected the Legends figure upscaled. I dont like that they went with a more typical Prime color scheme instead of doing LioConvoy properly, but the new head mold's a great surprise.

I was going to pass on Overload, then I saw the return of the 8-bit camo, great, now I have to get it... kinda glad they didn't rehash the Armada brick.

Does anyone notice how similair wasp and prowl look(in body structure)? Hmm.............

Yeah. Though old BW Waspinator WAS pretty good, and very accurate in the 10th anniversary deco.

This one looks to transform very much the same way as Animated Swoop, which is interesting.

Just saw Leo Prime. A little too much red and the leo breaker repaint was expected but I'll get two. 1 for my prime shelf and the other for to attach to cybertron prime.

10th Waspinator is my second favorite Beast Wars toy, behind 10th Ann. Ultra Optimus

Any body else getting a Gen. Grevious vibe from Waspinator? You can see that some of Wasp's details will stay similar once he becomes Waspinator (pretty much some of the head details). Can't wait to see what else they have planned for this line.
