yizhi521 of TF08.net has posted up a small selection of images of the upcoming Transformers Animated Samurai Prowl in vehicle mode. These images show quite nicely how the new sidecar section for the motorbike will work.

i'm just glad it's not a repaint like the Blazing Lockdown, the only visible that i can see differences are the blue transparent plastic and...um...i forgot.

actually the original animated prowl has better paint apps,,, this one the hands aren't painted and other details are missing...plus i have painted mine to be show accurate...hopefully this armor can be added to the original.

It can't, This Prowl was remolded so the armor could fit on him.
and I'm sure this Prowl has the same number of paint apps. A lot of them are just on his side car now.

You know that episode was pretty much a commercial for this toy.
I'd be surprised if they didn't make it.

Nice figure but far too many missing paint apps to consider picking it up.

The armour will probably fit on the original Prowl, so you can mix and match for 100% paint apps. Unless the thing has been remolded with new connector ports, which I suppose might have been done.

Well, the front of the bike was remolded - we know that much.

Excelent, when I heard that they were making Samurai Prowl I held off getting the normal version, and I am not disapointed in the least with waiting.
The helmet on the side car being clearly visible is the only turn off for me in those pics, but it does look mis-TF'd and I'd probably have Samurai Prowl in bot mode all the time w/ armor on anyways. Overall worth more for $10 than the original toy IMO, and a def. must buy for me.

Hopefully the legs from the old prowl can be put ion this one, so he can still use his stars. Also I hope the police lights from the original fit on this version as well.
And I hope the un-armored robot is still available with this one
If so, then this'll be a perfect prowl IMO. But if not, no big loss

I so ♥ that armor. It's just too bad that they didn't do anything to the old Prowl motorcycle which is somewhat getting me angry because i would have to buy that again just for the armor.

Only weapon the armor had was a sword.
Which is attached to a false wheel on the side car.

It looks like from the other pic from Hasbro, the high res one, that the entire sidecar just clips onto his back and then wraps around. The only thing that's seperate is the wheel that turns into the sword. At least that's how I think it works.

It looks like all the portions of the sidecar are on extra joint and don't actually connect to Prowl. Looking at it now it seems that's how the wheel-sword works, too. (I could be worng on that last part.)

Well you're in luck.
Because the helmet actually forms the floor of the side car.
It's transformed wrong in this picture.

I'm actually kind of glad it is mistransfromed because we get to see the helmt, hehe.

gotta love this......we are finally getting remolds instead of straight up repaints like we have been asking Hasbro to do for so long and people still bitch about things like minor missing paint apps. Why does Hasbro bother listening to us?
