TF08.net has more loose Shockwave pics!
Looking at Shockwave's chest, it appears the faction symbol rotates to the side to swap out, and it looks like I was right about the lower half of the face rotatiing back into the head for Shockwave mode. Looks like he forgot to extend the arms and flip out the shoulder panels on Shockwave, or pull out the shoulders for Longarm, but wow. Looking better and better. Can't wait for him to get here!

wow, his head gimmick seams very simple, flip antlers up, back of head slids down with face. also very mistransformed, especally with the shoulders and legs.

Gotta say as well - grey looks good for him.
...and is is just me, or does he have lightpiping for that eye that only works in Shockwave mode? Sweet.

huh...he looks cool, but having the vehicle modes be so similar is a drag...i'd almost rather him be a triple changer, with one vehicle mode and two robot modes then a quadchanger...but then he'd be more PCP and less shockwave...

Vehicle modes honestly look a bit crap, but the bot modes, even mistransformed, are fantastic. Another $20 happily lost to Hasbro.

Awesome. Yet another great Animated figure. It would be nice to know just how the Longarm Prime face moves to reveal Shockwave's. I'm starting to think your right Peaugh and whole face rotates. The area under Shockwave's eye looks a little different than on the Longarm face. The area under Shockwave's eye looks more rounded were it is pointed under Longarm Prime's red dot/eye, although it could be because the picture of Shockwave is a little blurry.

It's all part of the plan to get Magnus fired and replaced by himself or Sentinel.

I def like shockwave i like his shock wave mode more then his longarm mode. The shockwave mode def shows signs of G1 originality. Def love this mode and will be buying this at some time soon!

Granted, the perspective is a bit off, but that picture makes it look like the top of Shockwave's head (minus antennae) hits at about the black line on Magnus' chest. Which would make him....shorter than Voyager Prime. I was kind of hoping he'd be about Prime's size in Longarm mode, and closer to Lockdown in Shockwave mode.

Yeah, I'm not so sure about the alt modes there. A bit too G1-pretender-ish for me, the way his arms and legs "splay out" into the tank. Still, having two different bot modes is well worth the admission price.

Any chance you can ask for a pic with the proper transformation corrections? (as in, tell him which bits are mistransformed and ask if we can get pics properly TFed)

Holy crap, the engineering on that thing is impressive, looking forward to Peaugh's review with it properly transformed FTW!
This is also one of those rare times where I think a G1 repaint would actually be nice.

OMg both longarm and shockwave look AWESOMe im so glad mines is coming, but the alt modes look a lot alike but the robot modes both make up for it. Greeat pics

if i didnt know better. i would say the chest symbol and the face change gimmick are all linked into a automorph system. that and looking at Longarms face it appears it splits in half like it does in the cartoon. yes, this double agent is totally a must have.
