New Images Of Animated Rodimus Minor And Oil Slick Repaint 980_500X500
2005 boards members Tommybg2003 and Lance Halberd have posted images of new Transformers Animated toys. Shown in this new set of images are Rodimus Minor, and a previously unseen Oil Slick repaint.

Hasbro intends to release Rodimus and other figures shown at Botcon, someway, somehow, this year. Click on the title bar to see more!

There's no announced release date at this time. Hasbro is still looking for someplace to distribute the remaining Animated toys.

i really love animated toys, they got me back into collecting.

i'll definately get rodimus.

oil slick is melting the pegs off the shelves down here, i'd be pissed if we got a redeco over some of the others.

i still want e. soundwave the most. and fw jazz.

I really hope they release all this stuff because all of them look amazing and I really want to buy them and finish of my Animated collection!!!

Yes. They won't be issued for a very long while (Release anything mainstream that's not ROTF related during the months following the movie's release would be idiotic for money making), but Hasbro has said they plan to release the new toys (along with the repaints of Oil Slick and Soundwave) eventually.

I hope the rest of the Animated figures don't become Hasbro Toy Shop exclusives or something. At least not the sooner to release ones. That spells doom for the later releases probably getting cancelled completely.

Thanks. At least theres still a plan to get these out. It makes sense what they're doing, it's the same thing with the 25th Joes. This will at least give me a chance to get caught up on some things, as I am just getting back into collecting. I grew up on G1, sold my collection 12 years ago, and have regretted it ever since.
