Red leader:
Did a quick search and couldnt find anything on it but I am a techno fool so apologise if it has come before.

There are new Animated 2 Packs available which are The Battle Begins Megatron with Prowl and Battle Begins Optimus with Blackarachnia, they are not a box set but carded togeather much like the Cybertron 2 Pack of Dirtboss and Red Alert was a few years ago

I have the images and am currently figuring out how to move them from my excel sheet to the forum...........doh

Mods close this if it is old news

Cheers

If you can't save them as Jpgs/Gifs, you may be able to use the 'PrtScn' button
to make a screen capture, and paste them into paint, photoshop, or the like.
Joe Moore:
Right click on the image, then press "Copy". Then open a new blank document in Photoshop or any other image editing software, then right click and press "Paste". It's the easiest way to get stuff from Excel to any other program. If you are having trouble, you can send me the spreadsheet (I will not share it with anyone) and then will extract the images and post them here.
Takara_destron:
Cool, cleverly chosen 2-packs.
Gingerchris:
Prime and Megs without battle damage would be nice.
SPLIT LIP:
I eagerly await pictures.
Red leader:
Prime sadly appears to still have battle damage which sucks, I'm waiting on Joe's email address and then when he has got them I'm sure he will post up
Joe Moore:
Picture added to the first post. Shame it's kinda small.

Indeed. It's an immediate lost sale from me.
Ravenxl7:
Interesting. I'm slightly interested in the Prime vs. Blackarachnia 2-pack, but if he was battle damage free it'd be more enticing. I already have prowl, so the Prowl vs. Megatron set doesn't really interest me.
llamatron:
I must admit these are well thought out (in terms of matching up with episodes).
ersico:
prowl/megatron pack says battle in space,,,,,,,would be nice if prowl was in cyberton mode

Yeah I concur and honestly I would be even happy if it was just repaint without any remolding.
Lumpy:
is this prime's axe the best? or was it the cybertronian deluxe that had the better axe?
Fosterlager:
Good sets. If the price is right, I'll get them for Toys for Tots.
Laser_Optimus:
Shame they didn't remove the battle damage from Prime and Megatron. I would have bought another Prowl and Blackarachnia to get those two without the battle damage as I personally liked the two figures, but thought the battle damage ruined what were otherwise really good toys. Oh well, might pick a couple of these up for TFT if I see them anywhere.

Well, some see battle damage. Others see S&M scars.

I have none of these, but as allways with twopacks these will probably be for some store chain wich we ain't got this side of teh Atlantic.

shibamura_prime:
I may pick up that Prime/BA one just because the packaging looks pretty sweet.
G1Wheeljack:
Makes sense, Prowl cut off Megatron's arm in episode 1 & Prime & BA have a history, a good way to re-release the 2-Pack guys. I'll be passing as I already have all 4 though.
shockwave2005:
cool for those that didn't want to buy the entire 2 pack for one figure.

shame they didn't lose the battle damage - I would have bought those again.
RonimusPrime:
Nice- I never could find a Prowl in my area, and Battle Begins sorely tempted me, but I didn't really like the Optimus.
frenzy_rumble:
I love that Prowl mold. I keep buying these animated, with intention to customize them, but it still hasn't happened
Lockdown:
Hope we get these in Au might have to keep my battle 2-pack and BA in package for a while after I pick them up tommorow see if can save some money return them and get the Prime BA 2pack since I only want the axe.

No this prime's axe is clearly the best@!
Shark Jumper:
Depends on the price for me, I was gonna order the custom Prime axe already.
I also got C. Prime and V. Prime to work with. Don't really need the two pack one...

Seems like the consensus here is that they REALLY should have taken this opportunity to release Prime and Megs without battle damage. That kind of bites. Why design a mold where the battle damage has to be lamely painted on, rather than being integral to the mold... and then never release a non-battle damaged version?

Otherwise, nice pairings.

It's amazing that that one moment of Prowl slicing off Megatron's arm stands as one of the most iconic moments for both characters. It was pretty cool though... probably for most of us, the first event in the series that made us all sit up and take notice.

Grudgingly, if they're going for a "battle in space" association with the Prowl-Megatron pairing, I admit the battle damage is appropriate.

Agreed! This is the best Prime axe, bar none. In fact, it's just about perfectly size appropriate for the voyager Prime figure. For the deluxe figure, it's actually monstrously oversized.

Grimwing:
I would have bought redecos of all those figures in bright yellow.... or anything really.

But I bought all these decos before. So no thanks.
Omega Charge:
I KNEW these would be coming sometime. I had been wanting that Prime in a pack like that since I heard about it. Oh well, I have the figures now. Clever choices too.
Beastbot X:
Blackarachnia again? As if she wasn't warming pegs enough as is...
alex_kingdom:
Like many have said "still battle damaged? = Meh" I would have got the Prime Blackarachnia set if Prime were clean. Way to go Hasbro.
raptorclans:
Hehe... I saw these 2-packs in town today here in Malaysia. No pics but I'm very sure of what I saw. And yeah, battle damage is in, wished there would be non-battle-damaged versions as well...
Rollcage:
That Megatron really needs to be changed, the legs are so loose he can't even stand up. I'm so pissed off about that. The Prime is sweet though. I love the figure.
webz:
I'll only get these if there is no battle damage. The "damage" looks awful and kept me from getting the earlier box set.

You know... I'm wondering if these won't end up being some kind of store exclusive here in the states during Christmas seeing as how they've got a 'story label' to them like those Cybertron two-packs from a couple of years back that were exclusive to a store.

Personally, I think there are better S&M-related fetishes than scarification.
1987olds442:
I hope these are just mock ups of the figures using already existing toys, because I would love to get the two pack Prime without the battle damage paint.
Josh:
well then!

glad i held out on the two pack! [and have been lazy in finishing off the first wave] xD

i still need to get Blackarachnia and i really wanted that prime [but not the megatron] so looks like im in luck!
dark69:
well that SUCKS! why do they still have battle damage i hate that
Ravenxl7:
Looking at the pictures a bit closer, you can clearly see a Walmart exclusive sticker on them, so these will more than likely be Walmart exclusives for either Black Friday or sometime else for holiday shopping. Also, it's somewhat hard to tell, but it also looks as though the art used for Prime and Megs have the battle damage on them, so I don't think these are just mock-ups. I'll more than likely just get a Cybertronian Prime, and just not get a Megatron for this line.
JCz28:
Well I don't know why people keep complaining about the battle damage on Optimus, it easily comes off with rubbing alcohol. If I see the Prime and Blackarachnia two pack I might pick it up.

These are Wal-mart exclusive, you can see the Only at wal-mart sticker to the right if you look closely.
Bahamut Prime:
Interesting on how there's a Prime vs. Blackarachnia pack! Not so sure about the Prowl vs. Megatron though.
Joe1:
no changes 2 the molds, not even 2 the paint? i would have at least hoped tht they would hav gotten rid of the ugly ass battle damage. times like this let u knw how lazy hasbro is.
RedAlert Rescue:
I can but hold out a hope they will single card re-release the Megatron and Optimus or sell them again in some sort of display boxed set with a Voyager toy.

They could say sell Battle Damaged Cybertron Mode Deluxe Optimus Vs Cybertron Mode Voyager Megatron with either silver/grey plastic coloring or battle damage.

Then pack an Undamaged Megatron Deluxe Cybertron Mode vs a Damaged Voyager Optimus... or just release the undamaged ones as single card figures.

I know I'd like the option to own those DX figures in undamaged form - perhaps Takara-Tomy might do that if they take the line at somepoint.
SilverDragon:
Evidently the Battle Begins 2-pack sold so badly they had to repackage the figures.
Zaraxion1021:
Another 2-Pack. Those battle dameged versions look so ugly!! The only one i would want to get is Optimus Prime because of his axe which would go really well with Voyageur Prime.

Agreed.
Railguard:
I still say they should have done this earlier. Maybe they are doing this cause of the holidays coming up.
