Yay, my worries are alleviated. I'd pick him up. Though I have to admit the only thing that's a lil disappointing is now stasis cuffs with these guys. But that's just a minor complaint. Definite buy.

I wasn't sure about the metallic purple and gray, but I really like it now. Hasbro could repaint all the jets and I'd buy them. Love the toon and the toys!

Hasbro's argument for not remolding the head doesn't really jive with the fact that to kids, he IS the clone from the show...but they're less likely to really care if he looks like he's about to leak himself, too. A scared-face Skywarp would have been fun to have anyway.

I doubt they'll do all of them, Skywarp's already in Wal-Mart's listings and TC's an Activator, and I think they'd do them all as Voyagers. Also, I highly doubt we'd see a Botcon exclusive before it's even announced to exist.

So because they complete the Classics Seekers (which many fans wanted a complete set of more than most other SS molds, because they were SO CLOSE to the G1 versions but better), Botcon is going to do Seekers whatever's the current SS mold from now until forever? Seriously, give them SOME credit in the creativity department.

Oh, and Ramjet's confirmed to be an Activator, too. I highly doubt we'll see ALL of the Seeker clones as Voyagers, that's just too many $20 repaints. I'd imagine we'll eventually see a Voyager Sunstorm either right before Animated goes on hiatus for TF2 or right after, that way each mold gets three uses, which is generally as much as Hasbro likes to mass-release one mold. And either an Activator Femmescream repaint of maybe a new deluxe mold of her if Hasbro's feeling generous.

To be completely honest, I really hope he doesn't get a new head/face. While his similarly colored clone in the show is a coward, I've never really thought of Skywarp as a coward before. It doesn't fit his personality, imo. I think the Thundercracker colored one should have been the cowered.

Yep, which should mean he'll have a bio all of his own that has nothing to do with the clone. I'm not sure about the Thundercracker and Ramjet Activators, though I would imagine they'd have bios of their own too.

Wasn't it confirmed that Thundercracker is a clone from SDCC Hasbro Booth package bio?

^ I don't remember TC being shown in Hasbro's SDCC booth. He was just in the slideshow. The only new Activators in the booth were Grimlock and Megatron, IIRC.

EDIT: Actually, scratch that. TC wasn't shown at SDCC at all. He and Patrol BB recently had official images show up. Packaging was shown, but only the front. So no bio yet.

Like Jarodimus said, he wasn't shown at SDCC at all. The only in-package picture we have so far is of the front of it, which doesn't show either way if he is meant to be the clone or not. One thing is certain, he does have a very similar paint job to that of the clone (not exact, but for an Activator it's not that bad). Now that I have an Activators Bumblebee, the Activators in general are looking better to me. I'll definetly be getting Grimlock, Cliffjumper, and most likely Megatron when they come out. I was origionaly going to get the Deluxe Bumblebee, but the Activators Cliffjumper convinced me to go that rought, as I'm trying to make it so I'll have a Cliffjumper to go along with each of my Bumblebee's. So far the only one, other than Animated, that I don't have is a 3" Titanium, but that's because the Cliffjumper repaint was canceled. I'll probably just get rid of my Bumblebee then. Getting a second one and repainting it would be an option, but, I think I'll take the lazy way out, lol.

This is probably my favorite all time character (not his animated character but hey at least he's in the show). Scared face or not I'm buying this the minute I see it.

You know, repaints of voyager starscream are all well and good...but what i'd like to see is the entire clone group as activators repaints. Small enough for every fan to afford them all, especially if its in one box set, and somehow it'll look a bit less vulgar on the shelf i think Plus no way in heck we'd get ALL the clones repainted on the voyager mold, especially not the female.

We could very well get at least a majority of the clones as Activator repaints. Thundercracker and Ramjet are already in the works. I wouldn't be surprised if we also get Sunstorm, Skywarp, and the Female clones. The female could even get a new head, as they've already shown they're willing to do that with an activator repaint (Cliffjumper). I personally don't imagine them doing a set of them, but it's not completely out of the realm of possibility.

Though the female strikes me as too major to get just an Activator.

She had quite a few lines, a non-cookie cutter personality and a separate VA. Plus her body had quite a few distinct differences from Starscream's (the head, build, etc).

I can see her getting a new mold if she plays a bigger part in the third season, but as-is, I personally think that the most she'll be getting is a activator repaint with a new head. Either way I won't be getting her, so it doesn't really matter to me in the end (don't like her color scheme).

A new deluxe mold of Femscream would be nice. Since they always seem to do more deluxes than anything else. Be better than another non-screen character like Oilslick. But there's a bunch of characters they need to do new deluxes for at the moment, so they probably won't need to invent any new ones just yet.

As for Skywarp, I can see why they mightn't bother with a new head sculpt, but personally I think it'd be worth it. A bunch of the clones with different expressions would be a lot cooler than having multiples of the same silly smirk.

Well I have no idea of what you just said but, officially, the egomaniac clone's name is "Thundercracker" even if it wasn't said in the show. in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he renamed himself later.

Link? Just curious as I've never seen this before. I'm not doubting your sources reliability, or anything. My post was based off of what I knew at that point. None of the sources I usually go to have this bio on their Animated Thundercracker page at all. It's probably just me, but, I have no idea what you mean by Walky.
