2005 Boards member Ravage1974 has obtained the recently revealed Animated Blitzwing figure from a McDonald's Happy Meal in France. As stated before, France is the first place this Blitzwing figure has been available while McDonald's has been running the Transformers Animated promotion worldwide. Ravage1974 has been gracious enough to provide a few photos of the packaging, robot mode, and vehicle mode for the figure, which can be seen by clicking on the image to the left.

Wow, I'm actually impressed. I mean, it's still a Happy Meal toy, but it's got a multiple-step transformation, decent paint applications, and looks pretty good in both modes. Why the heck did the best one get restricted to France?

OK, I read that headline as "Images of Frances McDormand's Happy Meal Blitzwing Figure", which would have been just about the most awesome TFW2005 headline ever published. Shame...

Got paint details for sure. Perhaps Happy Meals cost more in France so the stores can afford better toys.

Pretty cool. Here's a thought: since he only turns into the tank, wouldn't it make more sense to go with the tank face?

Anyway, it's great that they're doing Blitzwing at a smaller scale. I'd love to see them attempt an actual triple changer Blitzwing at legends class or an activator version. Of course it'd probably be something of a disaster, but it'd be a challenge and cool to have just the same.
