Swoop's wings are blue the offical shots show them silver which I think looks better.
Bumblebee looks like a parts former. I will get Swoop however it is a downgrade from the first shot. Bumblebee will be a pass for me.

Me Swoop look awesome! I still can't get over that they got most toys in this line so friggin right! Sure, once in a while you've got a clunker, but for the most part, every figure is fun to play with and 'toon accurate.
Swoop completes the Animated Dinobots, and he's a very welcome addition to the line. Waaaayyyy better than the Energon attempts. I wouldn't doubt that if the Universe line continues, we'd see more Dinobots in it.
EG 'Bee is a nifty repaint that's growing on me. However, "Bumblebee" to me doesn't fit as a name for a member of the Elite Guard. Therefore he shall be Goldbug when I get him. I wonder if he'll make it into the 'toon? It's doubtful, but it'd be cool to see him progress into a better 'bot, like Cheetor did in Beast Wars. He starts off as a hotshot(no pun intended) that likes to buck authority, but slowly "comes of age" and begins to show signs of greatness.
Almost makes one wonder if we'll see EG versions of the rest of the Earth Autobot crew. I'm sure we'll get a Voyager Prime repaint, which would be cool to see. Perhaps in a Fire Guts colorscheme? Prowl could be in G1 colors. Bulkhead and Ratchet I have no clue on.

That was Patrol Bumblebee, an Animated Activators repaint.
On another note, this Elite Guard Bumblebee is also different than what we saw before. The head is black instead of yellow. This verison looks much better, consistency-wise than the one we saw around BotCon.

BB's new colours dont work for me, his stinger in arms issue looks to be fixed (unless modded on that toy).
swoop, i really like that although the lighter colours look a bit washed out, a great and unusual TF toy.
I do wish they had used the metallic paint on the feet etc, like grimlock any pieces entirely 'gold' are moulded in orange instead of painted metallic.
perhaps with a japan release the metallic parts might get a different treatment.

Swoop is absolutely delicious! Beast mode looks a bit off in the arms area, but it'll do. Looks to have amazing articulation as well - double ball-jointed neck FTW!

WTS If they were going to do a repaint of animated bumblebee, it should've been as cliffjumper or even bugbite. NOT a lame looking black and gold repaint.

I look forward to getting both of them. And I am so happy they corrected a few things on Elite Guard Bumblebee, now he is a total must-buy. And they really, really did a good job on Swoop, considering he looks exactly like a pterodactyl, and he pulls it off excellently.

wish they hadnt cheaped out on Swoops flail, proto pictures showed a cool metal link chain, now its a cheapy plastic one with alot less links.

EG BB looks much better here than he looked previously, lowering the overall amount of yellow left on him. The first shots we saw made it look like somebody had half finished him. This one looks good.

Swoop is kind of meh, but I'll be getting him to finish off my Dinobot group.
The first Bumblebee repaint is a big pass for me, if he was red and called cliffjumper I would have bought him. But at least they fixed his stinger problem.

Swoop looks all sorts of awesome and I agree with the comment made about the 'gentlemen's bow'... if I wasn't already planning on buying him... that alone would have sold me on the figure.
EG BB... is a big pass for me. This color scheme could be pulled off by Stealth Movie BB and look good, but this BB just doesn't have the personality or even body type to do this. It just looks bad to me. If they wanted to do a repaint of BB they should have done him up in red and called him Cliffjumper... like this... I'll be passing on him.

Swoop looks better the more I see him. Elite Guard Bumblebee on the other hand, keeps on looking worse the more I see him. If they had gone all the way and not had any of the bright yellow on him, I think he would look a lot better, but as it is, I can't stand the way he looks. If I get any version of the mold, it'll be the first release of him, and even then I'm not planning on getting him.

And I'm surprised how Swoop doesn't have any extras even in pterodactyl mode. Impressive. Though I HATE HATE HATE how none of the Dinobots can store their weapons in dino mode. That's always been a pet peeve of mine, non-storable weapons.

No you're not. A lot of people see it. It's because they were designed with the same thing in mind, a sleek samurai
warrior. That combined with them both being flying alt modes means similar robot mode.
