And a hilarious one at that!
My point is…lighten up both sides. The only time an insult becomes an insult is when it's acknowledged.
I spent $150 on a pre release animated soundwave because I just refused to wait for it at retail…the next week he was on ebay for about $35 from about 5 different sellers. (Damn you JENNY'S WORLD!,lol)
Oh well…some of us have spent more on accumulated parking tickets or moving violations, or even worse…women (that's some expensive SH**right there).
these are all byproducts of the choices we choose to make in life, BIG F'N Deal

I still don't understand the venom directed at pre-release buyers. It's not like they're spending your money to buy the toys.
Well, that's because he's an idiot.
D Banks
the seller raised the price to 300 BIN now, I guess shes noticing that he is in high demand

haha, im included in that bunch, its just so hard seeing such a cool figure like shockwave/longarm on ebay and not buy him since he wont be out for a couple of months, I used to never buy expensive prototypes until the animated line came out. But im glad I bought one, all four modes look awesome especially Longarm Prime.

Ricky Bobby begs to differ!!!!!!
Mr. Dennit: Ricky, your little obscene gesture is going to cost you 100 points. Do you know how much that costs us in sponsorship dollars?
Ricky: With all due respect, Mr. Dennit, I had no idea you'd gotten experimental surgery to have your balls removed.
Mr. Dennit: What did you just say to me?
Ricky: What? I said it with all due respect!
Mr. Dennit: Just because you say that doesn't mean you get to say whatever you want to me!
Ricky: Yes, it does!
Mr. Dennit: No, it doesn't!
Ricky: It's in the Geneva Conventions, look it up!

The hands are simple. They basically slide down/up from the sides of the arms. The symbol is a bit more complicated, and I'm not exactly sure how that happens. I personally think it's on some kind of panel that can either flip or slide to the side to change from one to the other. I'm really curious where some of his body parts go in alt-mode. Can't wait to see more pictures of this guy when we get the first reviews of him. Also, here's hoping it won't be too long till we get the stock photos that were shown at SDCC. I think last years were out within a week of the convention.
Ghostofmegatron
That picture of longarm is amazing! But how does the simble, and hands change?
tony77tony77
someone got him for $200 i will never pay that much for something thats going to be in store for $20
Draven
…Wow.
Where the hell do you people get off telling other members of these boards that they're stupid because of their buying habits? If one of us wants to spend X amount on a toy to get it early, what the blue f*ck does that have to do with you?
Keep your flamebait opinions to yourselves in future, children. No-one cares about them.
And by the way, NemesisBruticus – putting "No offence, but…" before an insult doesn't stop it being an insult. Are we learning yet?
Iron Spider-Man
She rejected my offer. So apparently Jenny isn't a Loch Ness Monster in disguise.
And I really wanted some Graham Crunch. :{

Awesome. I'm really looking forward to more pictures of this guy. Especially of his alt-modes. As for the whole debate over buying early figures. I personally wouldn't buy anything early for more than what I'll be able to get it at retail. But at the same time, I'm glad that there are some people out there who do get them. Withought them, we wouldn't have these early reviews on the figures. With them, we can make a better educated decision on whether or not to get the figure when it comes out. Honestly, I do think that they are a little crazy, but this world wouldn't be fun withought a little bit of craziness in it.
Stormcrow
Not crazy about this figure. Im just really not diggin the whole Longarm/disguise concept. I would have rather had just a really good shockwave figure that was slightly more G1-ish.
Lockdown
Awesome the 'its my right to be stupid excuse' my brain dead step son uses that all the time.
lord ginrai
Ah wicked! Your reviews are always a pleasure to watch.
Congrats on getting him.
openchallenge
something about this figure dissappoints me. shockwave was the floppiest gun ever made. but his robot mode had a crazy personality. shockwave also made purple ok, something to do with his arm being a deadly purple ember. i lost my original shockwave to poor storage a few years ago but im not excited about this version.
Peaugh
Well, if that's the case, lockdown ended this thread five pages ago.
No offense to Banks, but considering mine was shipped five days ago via EMS and should be getting here any time now, he better not get his first. I promise plenty of pics.
lord ginrai
you know a thread has run it's course when people start calling eachother '******' arguing over a kid's toy.
Anyway Shockwave looks nice. It seems D Banks will be the first to get one…
I hope he takes a good amount of pics this time to go wit his regular video review though.
rikkuluverx2
i dig this and the shocky, but…i find it a little "mis-transformed". its a turn off. but i will for sure be picking this figure up. =]
