Our own roykop has found the Animated Autobot twins Jetfire and Jetstorm at retail at his local Walmart in Mesa, AZ today. The jets come in a two-pack along with an exclusive comic and form the symmetrical combiner Safeguard!

can you check the box bottom for the complete 12 digits code for us..
Walmart's receipt somehow put a prefix of 0 and shows only 12 digits displayed on the receipt; so the last digit omits.

Ah...why...why...I wasn't expecting these anytime soon. WHY??? Well I'll have to hold off for a bit. Thanks for the heads up though OP.
Gen. Magnus:
If checking Target for these, please keep in mind that the DPCI is the same as the Prime / Megatron Battle Begins pack: 087-06-0116.
Sideswipe80:
Anyone care to post the comic?
LightningZERO:
I hope they will show up in local stores soon, love them a lot
Sideswipe80:
Anyone scans of the comic?

Damn, dude. Give it time. It might take more than 12 hours.

There are a few words I could use to describe these guys.

Awesome.
Underrated.
Fantastic.
A hell of a great deal for the price.

SEE! I've been trying to TELL you people!!

Lol. Check out post #118 (or my most recent one) in that thread for the proper back kibble configuration. Also, there are some interesting alternate wing configurations in super jet mode available HERE and HERE.

I'm going out on a limb here and
say you want to see the comic.
There's a good chance TFW can't
re-produce the comic on these pages.
Probably only if hasbro gives permission which is unlikely.
They want you to buy the set
Sorry
jimmynguyen41:
I found him in MT Vernon Wallys in WAshington State yeah!
Octavius Prime:
They're not in Macon/Warner Robbins, GA, at any rate.

That has never been as issue in the past when it came to those mini-comics.

good thing I bothered checking the animated stuff again...hahhaa...we might've ended up missing out on the first sighting in WA. I'm still stoked about scoring all those wave 6 DC Figures

Except that this is a FULL-LENGTH comic.

The same one IDW's putting out this month.

I'm not sure the two are the same.
I believe they are each completely different stories.
I'm not sure if IDW had anything to do with the pack-in.
I could be wrong.
I believe that the pack-in has 2 tales:
1. their creation w/perceptor & wheeljack
2. their ninja training w/jazz.
I think arrivial #5(or6) has other tales
only one of which involves the jet twins.

I just hope the twins show up in PA soon.
DarkLiger:
am I the only one who is reminded of Crygen and Pyre (Magnokor) from the old Inhumnoids cartoon/toyline with this figure...wow i feel old
BigBadBoombox:
Heads up, just picked up Safeguard in NH, so we now have coast to coast saturation of Safeguard....now gimme Skywarp and Classics Inferno already!!!
all are dead:
i can post a few pics later from the comic but of course not all of em. mabye a few with perceptor and wheeljack and one before they were upgraded into jetfire and jetstorm and the one when they turn into safeguard. they were aucually construction bots but got destroyed in a accident and rebuilt by perceptor and wheeljack and it said them, sentinel and jazz were going back to earth after starscream and it said CONTINUES IN SEASON 3!!!
