He shall be Animated Soundblaster to me, though! Interestingly, it would appear the light-piping designed into the mold actually will be used this time (it was nutered in the original release, like Universe Tankor/Octane's light piping). I shall enjoy my Animated Soundblaster and Ratbat, they will be an excelent addition to my Soundwave band.
Now I just need a vocalist...

I think Galvascream is referring to how some people's Soundwaves seem to have paint rubbing off on his back.

No, I know he was talking about the problem with SW's sticky paint (it's on my SW, too), but he was saying they DIDN'T fix it with ES Soundwave, and I just don't see how they didn't when the paint scheme is still intact on that sample yet totally different in paint apps.

For me, Ratbat is the figure I'm buying and Soundblaster is the accessory that just happens to come with it. Ratbat looks great, and I'll probably give him to Soundwave, but Soundblaster is fairly unimpressive and he'll likely end up in the bottom of one of my Tupperware containers.

Ratbat is cute, the only thing I don't like on him is the big hole on his forehead. I guess it's because his head is on a ball-joint? Or why?
And seriously, ALL people who have posted Soundwave reviews so far are forgetting to transform his arm-wheels properly. He looks much better with the wheels turned inside, as they look like sound blasters.

Actually, yes he was.
I'm more iffed by them not painting his fingers purple like on the show.

Animated doesn't do that like other lines do. Only seekers and the two Bumblebee repaints get different names.

Oh, wow. I didn't know that Soundwave actually did that in the show. Now the question comes as to wether or not to finally break open that Legends Cyb. Soundwave I've kept MISB for so long, or to try and track down voyager Cyb. Soundwave...
ES Soundwave comes first, though!

Because he wasn't called Soundblaster, he was still called Soundwave in that form, and even then he only appears in that form within the virtual reality he puts the Autobots into.
That doesn't mean
we as the fandom can't call him Soundblaster. Hell, that's what I'm doing, since it makes more sense for ES Soundwave to really be the rebuilt form of normal Soundwave ala his G1 counterpart.
