Skywave:
Nice review again Kinda small in bot mode, but still look awesome. And I would be curious to see some Alts Reprolabels for Skid to looks like Animated Soudwave, didn't realized he looked like a Scion! The alt mode look really good though, and love the Lazerbeak guitar
General Tekno:
Can you throw him in a Kamina-style "Pierce the Heavens!" Gurren Lagann homage pose?

EDIT: Also, can we get a pic of him next to Voyager Bulkhead?

It looks like he might be in scale with him.

i have seen you ask this question multiple times. please let us know what it is that you're talking about. i'm sure there are others beside myself who look at your comment with extreme puzzlement.
Dropshot:
Great review, but sure he is smaller than I thought.
Lucs:
Freakin' sweet review once again man! It may not be perfect but you put yourself out there like a champ, just keep it up Sean!

NOW GIVE ME A REVIEW OF JAZZ!!!!

On a side note I think I may stick to my idea of D-cons I really like and almost all Autobots. I don't want this SW but I think after this review I must own him. Hasbro this guy is giving you business, compensate him already!
jazz4ever:
awsome though it looks like he has balance issues and the legs do look tricky but none the less good review

p.s: you were right skittles should stay fruit flavored

I'm referring to a character from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, an awesome anime series.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=zKtdvAO4lSo - the pose in question is at about 3:10 or so.

Said pose is mirrored later on in the series by Simon in one of the most awesome scenes ever. (Spoilers): http://youtube.com/watch?v=q_ls5IP-SCA
Ktulu:
Yeah I'm feeling iffy on the wobbly legs myself. Hopefully that won't be common on the final product on shelves.

He was pretty clear I think. It's a reference to something, and people that know what he means get it easily. Every reference doesn't need some huge detailed aside. If you don't know what Gurren Lagann is you could've easily just googled also! Let's all play nice

darkmgmstr:
I soooo want him along with Animated Blitzwing.....
Julliant:
Dang he's short. He should be almost as tall as Bulkhead.

Great review nevertheless.
Railguard:
I'm surprisingly dissapointed. He's too short. Maybe I wont pick him up, I'll have to wait and see.
sixshot2K:
That toy is 100% flawless!
Storm:
just one gripe with the review, anda lot of other fan vids with a soundwave voice, they just talk into a vocoder without realising for it to sound good you must put on a raspy voice like frank Welker did which sounds like Dr Claw from Inspector Gadget.
ckhtiger:
man, I'm a super huge soundwave/80's/hip hop fan, and I still haven't found a soundwave that I like more than the original one, regardless of all of the homages in this figure.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. The Dr. Claw voice is the exact base for Soundwave's prior to the modulation. The problem is actually duplicating said modulation. Virtually impossible.

I agreed with statements like this for years, however, the Music Label Soundwave has finally taken over as the best soundwave for my taste. I think its the articulation that does it for me. Although it's too bad that the ML Rumble/Frenzy look terrible IMO.

I got Animated Soundwave in the mail recently, and I am satisfied with him. He definitely looks "cute" in comparison to how menacing ML Soundwave can look, but that's just the style of Animated I've come to accept.

As for the complaints from some on here about the wobbly legs on Animated Soundwave, I was able to fix that by adding a layer of Super Glue around the ball joints of the knees, then just respnapping them in place after it dried. Presto, problem solved.

If only there was a better articulated Laserbeak that could pirch with his wings more appropriately folded, but now I'm just being picky.

FINALLY got around to doing my video review:
