Animated Blitzwing Released at United States Retail

Animated Blitzwing Released at United States Retail blitzfind
Released much sooner than expected at US retail is Transformers Animated Blitzwing. TFW2005 member roykop found the Voyager Class figure at a Wal*Mart in Arizona.

While out hunting for wave 4 animated deluxe figures, I was quite surprised to discover a Voyager Blitzwing sittin on the shelves at WalMart. I hit up several local WalMarts last night, but this was the only one that had anything new. Lets hope this wasn't just a random mix up, and these will start popping up near everyone soon!

Argh... having to go out searching for this one is going to suck. One of the WMs around me just barely got their Wave 3 Animated Deluxes in and the other one around me seems to have cleared out most (if not all) of their TF figures to make room for the new Star Wars figures. >_< '

HOLY SHIT!!!!! So it definitely begins. I need to make room in my spending to grab Blitzwing along with Ultra Magnus, Onslaught, and another Grimlock.... This addiction to plastic crack is killing me.....

Let's hope all those Bulkheads and Megatrons at my local stores can hurry up and sell then. I had to go out of state to find Prime and Grimlock, seriously though, that means that ALL the Voyagers that Hasbro has officially announced are out now. I suppose we should be seeing Wreck-Gar or Skywarp sometime soon then?
At this rate Shockwave/Longarm Prime will be in stores by next month.

Just enough time to hunt. Anyway I'll take 2 blitzwings as the animated toys are going to have far to many autobots by the time the wave 4 deluxes are around.

I kind of made a weird connection between how animated blitzwing has 3 heads and how g1 blitzwing from five faces of darkness opposes and distrusts the quintessons using his fragmented memories.

Theres a quint in this blitzwing essentially, now that's crazy.

I just went out hunting every TRU within about 30 mile radius from my home in IL, searching for Galvatron & acid storm...skipping at least 15 different wal marts along the way...I thought my hunt was finally over....

I just knew that the date at comic-con was wrong.

I just got a Soundwave. And even if Blitzwing is the only other Animated figure I get, I'll be happy.

On a side note, that will hopefully prove that the release is sooner than October, the other figures advertised on the packaging all feature animated wave 3 figures, and nothing beyond what we already know to have hit store shelves. I can only assume that if this was intended to released in October, we would see at least wave 4 figs on the box.

If you mean like the turrets on his back, then I don't think there is any way to position them over his shoulders, minus removing them and balancing them there.

Those canons can NOT be utilized in bot mode, unless:

A) the enemy is flying directly above Blitzwing

B) His hands are registered as lethal weapons

C) You do some heavy modding to the turret rig so they can swivel down.

This won't stop my from buying him, but it really annoys me that his turrets can't go over his shoulders. They needed to make them able to telescope and then fold over. Might have prevented the missles from firing though (I'm not sure how his launchers are set up). Also, probably would have been too fragile. But still, I want it.
