Looks like it's actually Black Convoy rather than just Convoy in black as the product name would suggest.

Remember that the image is just photoshopped. The final product will most definitely be darker in color.

I don't think we have to worry about the color. Like I said earlier, the image is photoshopped to give an idea of the color scheme. As the product is licensed and strictly supervised by Nissan, there is no way they will let TakaraTomy release this figure if it doesn't closely enough resemble
the actual color of the GT-R in Super Black.
That said, I'll be giving this one a miss like I have with the color variants of GT-R Convoy and Z Megatron. I just need one of each character in their classic color scheme. I wonder if TakaraTomy will also milk the Fairlady Z mold and release a black version of it further down the line.

Well, I've got Silver Convoy shipping from BBTS and Silver Megatron is on preorder. I passed on the traditional Convoy colors because I'm not going to use mine as the intended character, but this Black Convoy/Scourge/Nemesis Prime colored version will be mine... oh yes...

That almost seems to obvious for them to pass up. It'd be almost criminal for them not to. Hopefully the molds used won't get beat to hell and back before they can make an Ultra Magnus out of it.
I'm a sucker for repaints that are also different characters. Not so much a fan of repaints that are the same character. Not sure why that is really...

Nemesis Pirmes are always tempting. The Black/Teal always look better in Prime than the Red/Blue. However, I've promised myself not to buy any Nemesis other than the classic one. For Financial Health reasons...

Looks pretty sweet. I would have gone for a white version over a black any day though. Mainly saying this cuz it's easy to put out a Magnus as a repaint but I would have turned it into a badass Jazz custom!
Not sure I'll bite on the black version, altough it's very nice looking, I'll wait til my silver/red versions get here to decide. Afterall June is my brithday month and there probably won't be much else I'll be buying around that time except for a very few choice movie figs

technically 2nd repaint isn't it? Red Convoy is considered the original. Then silver and then this black as the repaints. I would expect a Magnus (aka white Prime) repaint next.

Maybe, I'm not sure. I just consider Red as the original since it is more in line with Optimus Prime color wise.

That's how I see it too. Ultimate Metal Silver and Vibrant Red Convoys are color variants. The Super Black one is the first true repaint of the figure.
