and... ordered. come to me 'sunlight silver metallic' jazz/meister.
Fosterlager:
Meh, pass. These don't compare to Animated or Universe.
NGW:
Hasbro needs to bring back Alts now dammit >_<

PRE.ORDERED.
This is awesome news, just when I was starting to get into Alts/BTs again. I already have a complete Alt line, but was gonna go for the BTs that never got any Alt love, and those recolored KO... full of score.
SmokescreenGT:
Pre-ordered Bluestreak. Gotta have all the Subarus! The stock photo on BBTS makes the blue look a little darker than Smokescreen's rally blue color. Could just be the lighting, but it would make a nice difference between them if it is darker. Also, it looks as though Bluestreak's forearms and upper legs are white and not grey like Smokey's. Again, could just be the pic.
Now, if they would only release a red Subaru. Skywave:
Nice to see some more Binaltech! But personally I don't buy duplicate character in an alternate color, I see no point in this. Maybe one day they'll release a red and/or a white Scion, or blue Civic, now I'll buy them rherk:
Perhaps not the most exciting two to see bring back the line but if enough people support it, it just means there may be a future. I want a BT Mirage sooo bad!!! I've pre-ordered them already. BT's are really the only line of Transformers that I get excited about (MP's as well of course).

4) If thrown in to the "BT" line, just a stab at collectors to spend the money to import and attempt to make money off the movie's success.
Easily one of the cheapest, "give us money" tactics I've seen from TakaraTomy. Tops almost anything Hasbro has done. | And people will still buy them. I swear, they could repaint the Scion mold in complete brown, name it Turd Burgler, and some people would still giddy like a school girl and buy it up.
Just say "NO" to bad repaints.

. | I would buy a BT Shitpiece ANY friggin day!! Quote:
Originally Posted by Galaxy Convoy Just say "NO" to bad repaints. | I agree, but these repaints are pretty good.
Bluestreak is a bit bland, but it is a nice color for the impreza. And a silver RX8 Speed is just pure sex.
All IMO, of course.
Ktulu:
If they just HAD to go with dull repaints they should've at least stayed the hell away from the Subaru, there's already been too many damn versions of that
angeltread:
i'm just curious, for those of you who consider these repaints to be bad or dull or unexciting or whatever other words are being used... what car colors do you find to be good or exciting? fuchsia? neon orange?
freezowave:
These are sure purchases already, but I would have preferred a red WRX. It easily be made into Cliffjumper. Other than that I am fine with it, and would buy a BT repaint before 9of10 other lines.
I'm a BT Kool-Aide drinker, what can I say?

Jazz...same problem some people have with the Henkei line and it's use of chrome, except it's the whole fig this time. Very tacky looking.

butz:
Hmmm... if it didn't cost so much, I'd be sorely tempted by blue Bluestreak there; I no longer have any Alts, and the Subarus (well, Smokescreen and Silverstreak at least) were my favorite figures from that line.

Meanwhile, poor Meister, widely looked at as one of the best BT molds, has only been recolored once into "Zoom-Zoom" and remolded as Laserwave (and that pink exclusive one doesn't count). I for one welcome this or any future use of him. Streak... not so much, and I can't imagine his mold is in great shape by now. | What about Autorooper? He was an RX-8. That makes four.

On-topic: I really like Bluestreak. Very sleek. Definitely picking that bad boy up. Jazz...I'm not sure about yet. Need to see better pics of him before I decide.

I did this repaint the very day I first found Streak (Definitely needed the Diaclone treatment).
I'll probably still get both though.
Vangelus:
I would -love- to see an orange, turquoise, or pink Alternator/Binaltech deco.
Binaltech Tech:
As a BT completeist I will have these.....maybe support for these wil reignite the Binaltech line with new moulds.
Bryan:
Old characters = lame, but I'll take what I can get in the hopes I see Ratchet and Ironhide down the road.

alecgates15:
Anyone know when and how much will this cost when it is released? I missed out on Binalternators the first time around, and hope to be able to have at least one in my possession. I'll need to import this guy if only Takara produces them.
smkspy:
Cool, Don't really want a Smokescreen without stickers or a Moviedeco Jazz, but its great that the series will continue...now give us Ironhide and Ratchet!
Edit; Now wait when these don't sell cause frankly they're rather lame its gonna be all our fault the line gets canceled again...oh the irony.

Too much chrome or shiney silver just makes a figure look cheap and tacky. Premium Leader Megatron being an exception cappeca: Quote:

One recent example is the Hot Rod Targetmaster reissue, which would then give room to a Stepper reissue. Sort of a bad move to set path for a good move. This cheap BT repaint fills me with hope, as I expect a Blue Bluestreak reissue on the Encore line for the near future after this. Quote:

At least Ricochet was a new character given the Alt treatment, and was quite different looking from Smokescreen and Silverstreak.
Superquad7:
I'm interested in seeing: - the packaging
- if Bluestreak will have the same problems that BTA-01 Alert has with alignment due to overusage of the mold
- whether or not this means a continuation of the line or if these will be the last BTs
- how long peeps will whine about repaints, and the time between the whining and the scurring to purchase these when they come out, and the price inflation due to these original fans making a last ditch effort to get what they originally whined about *cough cough*Alternators Swerve*cough cough*
Personally, I thought BT-18 was a nice bookend to the BT line as I feel that Alternators Rodimus is a nice bookend to the Alt line (as much as I want FRENZY from the RUMBLE mold*). (*RirFib) Max-prime:
always wanted a meister/jazz I would have perfered white but this one will do hopefully we'll get some more alts. I'm just got into them.
ErechOveraker:
pre-ordered Jazz ftw.
I've never in all my years actually pre-ordered anything before - it kinda feels dirty. But you know what? I don't care.

placed my preorder too along with the 1:24 scale Roadbots Feralstorm:
Both are very simple repaints.
'Movie style' Meister isn't too bad an idea IMO, though all it really does for me is make me wish the original Jazzmeister got the Mazdaspeed car mold and Shockblastywave got the standard RX-8 instead.
'Blue' Streak. I'm amazed at the fascination with Diaclone Blue Bluestreak. It made Hasbro give us an all metallic gray version of Prowl and now Tomykara gives us all-blue Streak. It's making me scared at what's next for the Classiverse Prowl mold. bran10:
If the price is right, I don't mind the jazz/mesiter... bluestreak ehh not impressive..
Severus:
You know, I had just given up hope on any of the repaints I really want to see - an Acura mold as Bumblebee, a Ram as Ironhide, a Scion as Ratchet. Really, truly given up. I figured that since we had seen Nemesis Prime for SDCC that we probably would have heard about an Alt for the show, meaning no more repaints. I was resigned. Done. Through caring. I had moved through all of the stages of grief and had finally reached acceptance.
Dammit. Now TakaraTomy's got me all fired up again. I don't really care much for either of these, but if they're plastic, I'll buy them. I might even if they're metal.
Sigh.

Give me the Jazz, or give me death. I know some people on a Mazda forum who'd pay TOP DOLLAR to just have him for his vehicle mode alone.

Here's to hope *cheers* Quote:

I'm not too impressed with these, but I preordered both of them anyway. Like everyone has said, hopefully this means we'll see new figures soon.
SmokescreenGT:
So, they're coming out the same week Animated hits store shelves. That'll be a busy week for TF fans!

BBTS posted that these will be diecast. hope it really IS true... that is awesome as far as i'm concerned, but maybe not for all depending on preference.
Rabbit:
Die-cast huh? Curses. I'll be cancelling my pre-order.
Acteon:
Stoked that the line is continuing and love the Bluestreak deco, but too similar to Smokescreen to warant a purchase, and I just recieved the Jazz mold from an Ebay auction, not bothered about it in silver (looks better in white anyway)
More pls.
Banshee:
A3U also has preorders up, 49.49$ CAN each.
ranoobu:
Is there any other reason diecast isn't preferred among some members besides paint chipping and possible top heaviness?
