| Release Dates for Binaltech BT-19 Bluestreak and BT-20 Meister |

New pieces of information include release date and price. BT-19 Bluestreak and BT-20 Meister will be released on June 26, 2008 and sell for around 5,250 Yen. Well, my Silverstreak isn't in the best of conditions, and I regret selling my Jazz... I wanted BTs of both those molds anyway, so maybe I can get these.

Um, yeah. i guess I will have to get these or my complete BT line wont be complete even though they are both utter crap. I mean really,l how many times are they going to cash in on these two molds. I mean sure they were probably two of the most popular molds, but DAMN. Let it die. What's the ETA and why didn't they mention then at wonderfest i wonder...

These two molds would make sense since they seem to have been the most popular in Japan, since they are Japanese sports cars. It would be very much in Takara style to play it safe.
Also, since when have we gotten really good information on Japanese releases? It seems they all begin as a sketchy scan before being confirmed by a vendor or magazine.

Great news that the line is continuing! But bad news that they're releasing another Subaru..... the QC was already terrible on BTA Alert, I can't imagine it will improve with yet another release. And the straight blue deco is just boring.
Meister looks nice in his new silver Laserwave suit, though. Shackwave custom, anyone?
Honestly the best part about this is just that it means there is still the chance for more BT's in the future.... c'mon, just release a red Ironhide-Scion and Trailbreaker, already!

Even considering that Ricochet wasn't released in Japan, they got FOUR Smokescreens! Plus the other Streak. Plus Red Alert. Meanwhile, poor Meister, widely looked at as one of the best BT molds, has only been recolored once into "Zoom-Zoom" and remolded as Laserwave (and that pink exclusive one doesn't count). I for one welcome this or any future use of him. Streak... not so much, and I can't imagine his mold is in great shape by now.

Wow. Talk about cheap.
1) No remolds, no extra cost.
2) Bluestreak is the same blue as Smokescreen, just with no paint apps thrown in, thus actually making it cheaper to produce than Smokescreen.
3) Primarly one color, very little paint applications
4) If thrown in to the "BT" line, just a stab at collectors to spend the money to import and attempt to make money off the movie's success.
Easily one of the cheapest, "give us money" tactics I've seen from TakaraTomy. Tops almost anything Hasbro has done.

Ya I'm kinda iffy, if they are indeed die-cast with the proper paint I would probably pick them up (especially Jazz) if not then it's an easy pass.

*gasps* BLUESTREAK!!! That freakin rocks! I am so preordering that one. I just wish they would have included some more sticker/paint details on the upper legs, torso, and upper arms to make him resemble the original Diaclone toy more.

At least Meister has some mixing and matching between the RX-8 molds.

i don't get all the bitching. smokescreen i can see getting old. but i'll reiterate that silver rx8 looks awesome. looks like it could be a bright silver as well. beats the hell out of white and red (purple ruled though). diecast would be great. i would definitely go out of my way to pick that up.

Actually there was meister, zoom zoom, laserwave and autorooper from KISS. This makes number 5, not counting the two alternators. Granted this is the 1st time meister has laserwaves body kit.

Looks like they used the Smokescreen head on the Streak body. Too bad cuz I like the spoiler on the original Smokescreen body, it allows for a different transformation. The Meister head on a Laserwave body is complete awesome for me. When I get it I'll probably switch the head and make a new character from it just to have that sweet silver RX-8 paint job. Pretty excited if these are real!

I love watching BT/Alt threads explode so fast. It reminds me the good old days of random ebay protos, and when Hasbro blew minds by unveiling 20th Prime and Alt Smokescreen on the same day.
It shows how passionate people are still today for this product. Even repaints of questionable merit- I'm still gettin' them though.

Definitely getting Jazz, I liked the remould of the RX-8 way more than the original, but not Bluestreak.
One of the last BTs I got was Smokescreen, and that was because it's the rally version. I hate the WRX version, especially in the blue they're passing Bluestreak as. And since I've sold most of my BTs, I don't care about the numbering anymore  Megatronwp38:

I only pre-ordered silver Meister. Bluestreak doesn't do anything for me, he looks kinda like a budget Smokescreen, but Meister being silver and having the body kit makes him look a bit better than the original white one, maybe even the red one.
