Pretty smart of them to pull the shoulders up and photograph the figure at an angle to give it a slimmer profile and making it look slightly feminine.

Thanks for the pics, but WTF, Binaltech Arcee is now white instead of silver? They really need to make up their minds about these.

I think that head looks too masculine to be Arcee.

It was stated to be white right from the beginning. The mock up retailer order form where the initial pics came from made it look silver.

With some simply retooling "Arcee" would be Tracks.

Ironically enough, when I get Arcee, she'll be the third of that mold that I own (the other 2 being Windcharger and Decepticharge) but she'll be the only one without a neutered gun.

Nice photos, but I'm going to pass on both of these. Arcee looks too manly to be female bot, and I'm very happy with my current Alt. Prime. I don't need another.

They could've probably used a white Hot Rodimus head sculpt with an optionally shaved down crest and colored lips and it would've been alot closer than Decepticharge with a different color set :/

Convoy looks like... Convoy. yay.
Arcee looks like... nothing that resembles Arcee. And those colours look horrid.

Nice, will get both, especially Prime since I passed on the Kiss version because of the lack of metal. Now I can finally get what was supposed to be released 2 years ago! A Die cast BT Convoy and not that abominal KISS crap

Ugh doing nothing for me. It just makes want the old Arcee back even more. After what IDW is doing in the books and this figure Arcee being a tranny is even more prevailant.

They could dip this fig into a bucket of pink paint and it would still look like a pink Megatron.......pink Windcharger if you squint your eyes and look real hard.

She has a goatee for crying out loud! What's up with the pink and peachy skin color combo, they can't even get the paint matching?

I pre-ordered both about a month ago. Can't wait.

Bluestreak and Jazz are supposed to be out sometime in June. Arcee and Convoy in July. That's what BBTS has listed anyway.

That is a poor color scheme for Arcee.

Some new molds (unlikely I know), or even just some inventive retooling would get me a lot more excited, especially if they were going to be released as alts.

But these are unexciting. Redundant and Transvestite.

I was so stoked when I read the BT line was on again...but man, the Arcee looks horrid, and the Convoy is just meh (nothing new over the Alt form, save the metal...yippee).

never heard of someone "testing the market" with such horribly uninspired releases. How on earth can they expect to get a proper reading? give people something NEW.

I am of the impression that if we want to see more Binaltech figures in the future, we should be showing as much support as possible for these repaints.

If the market looks to be good for Takara, they may decide to produce more Binaltech figures. This may mean getting new molds instead of repaints.

As far as testing the market is concerned, I imagine they are doing this on the cheap (using existing molds) to keep costs down.

I don't have a problem with using existing molds, but the choices are as uninspired as you can get.

Arcee looks like crap, Convoy looks AWESOME. I may get him just because I love that mould.

If it's not cost effective to give them new head molds, then I would prefer that the line stay dead. I will buy 1 of each new head mold that they make, but these repaints don't interest me at all.

I was planning to get Arcee after seeing pic's of her done up like this but that just looks so bad with the head and the paints apps so pass there. If I didnt already have the Kiss Players Convoy I'd be all over that and would highly recommended it to anyone. I'm not going to lie, I hated this toy after I got the Alt version and it was only after picking up the KP version that I came to appreciate this mold, the changes are that good. The Takara/Tomy version makes the Alt version look like a cheap KO to be honest, so it's worth looking at for all you Alt owners.

Anyway disappointing to say the least, I just hope we still get this sometime down the road as whatever it is looks very hot indeed

I agree totally, the previous pic looks way Arcee.

Convoy looks great, but they're a pass for me. I already have Alt. Prime, I don't collect the BT line and as for Arcee...It just looks awful, not even a good attempt. It would of been nice to see at least a new head. I mean paint prime black and give him a trailbreaker style head, just something like that would of been amazing instead of meh. It is nice to see the line is back and I'll keep my fingers cross for some new figures or retooled ones at least.
