TakaraTomy will be reissuing MP-04 Masterpiece Convoy/Optimus Prime(Perfect Edition) in October, according to Digitami. The most popular masterpiece figure, it raised the bar for Transformers toys, and is arguably the best Transformer ever made.

but hasn't this been released 3 or 4 times before? Not against it since i'm bonkers about the MP prime (and think everyone should hold one to see how cool it is) but we sure could use a new MP say, MP SOUNDWAVE ?

no the G1 is not a masterpiece of it's own, it's the best but not an MP that's for sure-

I'd like an MP Optimus Prime that is downsized to maybe the height of Starscream. I'm reluctant to get MP-04 because it's too huge.

As for an MP-Bumblebee, I always thought also that the Nissan March would be the next best thing to replace the VW Beetle for his alt mode. Hopefully the MP-Bumblebee would be in scale, like a Voyager height would be good enough for me.

This is a bit of a head scratcher...buy now at tfsource for $240 or wait till October and get it at BBTS for $200.

There doesn't seem to be any difference between the two. I'd love to get one...looks like I have some time to think about it.

The only problem I have with the iGear trailer is that it's too tall as a trailer...

I think they should redo him in all plastic. Diecast was cool on smaller figures, but too heavy on the big ones and creates stability issues.

Hopefully I will get to see him around here in the fall, I wasn't able to afford him back when, so maybe I can hold on to some $$$ for this one. Really,really would like this!!!

Getting this along with the mp-02/mp-04 accessory kit which includes roller. I've wanted some form of this toy for a LONG time. Not gonna bore you with the details, though.
