On display at the convention is the upcoming Alternity GT-R Convoy (silver version) in all his glory. Also shown was a dazzling red and orange "Exile Perfect Year 2008" rendition of the Convoy IPod docking station, a very cool display showing off all of the Transformers Henkei toys alongside the original G1 versions of the characters, and an equally awesome Masterpiece Thundercracker display.
Nevermore of our 2005 Boards also informs us that the Henkei Stuntron Wildrider, exclusive to the C3XHobby Convention, has been released. This cool repaint of Henkei Hot Rod(imus) also has a clever pun in its name - while most Transformers Henkei releases are called "Henkei! Henkei! Transformers" (literally, Transform! Transform! Transformers" Stuntron Wildrider is "Gentei! Gentei! Transformers" (literally, "Limited Edition! Limited Edition").

Does the silver Alternity figure look like Camshaft to anyone else? The color is correct, and Camshaft has a faceplate.
Given the lack of any other proper update, he could serve as Camshaft.

Alternity Convoy looks great; but I think I will be naming the silver one Camshaft too.
Thank God I dislike that orange iPod Convoy ... I guess it'll be pretty expensive.

Couldn't find mention of this on the boards, but there are some images floating around of the production Alternity Sliver Convoy GT-R. Jalopnik has some photos of the actual car and its Transformer counterpart from the 2008 Chara Hobby show.

What's with all the hate for naming him Convoy? Many car enthusiasts consider the Skyline GTR to be among the greatest Japanese Supercars in terms of Power and Performance. IMO, it suits Convoy just fine..........Rodimus Convoy that is.
