On the subject of the product: I agree with their decision to cancel it. Based on those images, it would have been unacceptable simple and uncreative for the price it would inevitably been sold for.

Darn it, I still wanted one. I hope that someone makes one at some point in the near future. I bought an Ultra Magnus just for the trailer.

i am very surprised densky, peahg, seanlong or others havnt bought his trailer by now you know how those guys are.

but exactly for what that guys asking to sell his trailer for i cant afford it for what hes asking.

for the price hes asking to sell his triler i could buy 1 or 2 g1 combiners off of ebay & ebay sells g1 combiners for ripp off prices saw one predaking thats not compplete going for 600 or more poepel think they have g1 figure they can sell for high price good luck with that thre freaking toys not comicbooks or anything i will admit toys are worth money but not that much new or used encore, original, reissue.

reissues, encores are sppose to be cheaper than the originals but there not going for than the originals on ebay, amazon or net sites

reason the ultra magnus trailer is so expensive is it is made from scratch.....he goes over the top with his stuff......it is a pretty large custom made of die cast metal (if i am recalling correctly) and it even has electronics.....i feel the price is justified

Agreed. I just hope someone fills the void and produces something good for this much-needed add-on. The market is there, just create a good product.

I'm surprised by the negativity towards the trailer now. People were jumping up and down for one when it was first shown.

Maybe if he (Anemis) have the financial backing & resources of a company or 3rd party outfit, the price for his custom made stuffs might be considerably be lowered. b'coz you got to remember he's practically a one man show.

Well the trailer itself looks fine, although the same cannot be said for the bot mode.

Maybe the guys who did the "Classics" Ultra Magnus upgrade should take this project. I don't own that Magnus but I saw pictures of it and it looks decent?

Or better yet, Takara-Tomy finally decides to do it themselves. They reissued MP-1 with a brand new trailer. Why can't they do the same for MP-2?

The trailer for Mp4 was a lot more simple than a half decent trailer for Mp2 would be, and Mp4 isn't exactly cheap. Can you imagine how much a reissued Mp2 with a trailer would cost?

Some would say the trailer for Mp4 falls short of aftermarket versions anyway.

...and there's Takara obsession with Convoy/Prime. They can't match Hasbro's sales so they keep defaulting back to shoehorning Convoy in wherever they can.

Kudos for the Team for not trying to push crap.

I'm pretty surprised at the poor execution of this. Dalianjj's MP-01 trailer was fantastic, and then he added the add on plates which ( I still hope to find someday... ) rose it to near flawless.

Good grief! I don't know whether to laugh or cry when I saw that link! In this time and age of toy collecting, good sculpt is as important as the engineering to make a good toy.

I can't help but continue to think that wrapping a bunch of plastic around the MP Ultra Magnus mold is just too darn difficult to come out right. It already has thick legs/arms. There's not a lot of room there for making things bigger with extra pieces getting attached.

Aside from the head, it wasn't that bad, but for the money it probably would have been, yes, it was a mercy killing. The classics city commander set is easier and far better aesthetically
