A-02 Megatron has been delayed till mid June according to this month's Figure King magazine. The blue version will also now be called "Premium Le Mans Blue", as the color option is known in Japan instead of "Monterey Blue".

I love my Alternity Red Convoy, but I won't be getting the Nemesis repaint. I am torn between the blue and silver Megatron, though...

The eyes are red on "Black Convoy". Cybertrons don't have red eyes. YET... Alternity BC has a Cybertron symbol. I just hope it's upside down too.

Take a closer look at that black convoy, especially the edges of the door in robot mode. That figure's been repainted to give you an idea of what BC will look like. Which explains why he's missing some paint apps and looks a little rough.

That Black Convoy looks awesome, and if that's the rough repaint, then imagine what the production model looks like!
On the other hand, Megatron just looks stupid. The alt mode is nice, I like the majority of the Transformation, but the utter lack of a Fusion cannon in favor of two mediveal-looking swords that don't match the look AT ALL just turns me off on that figure.

Alternity Megs looks great, definitely bought. And there was me thinking I'd be able to resist every other toy this year except MP Grimlock.
Movie Ultimate Bumblebee is always such a disappointment... the fact the chance wasn't taken to rework that mould into something more accurate and Masterpiece-y is a real shame. Of the myriad Movie 'Bee toys, surely that one was created with one eye on collectors/older buyers.

That's not strictly true, the toy of Super / God Ginrai did have red eyes, amongst others.

I am a huge Nissan fan and will be getting any and all versions of these, already have Convoy in red and silver with black and both Megs on pre-order.
My question is does anybody know where this line is heading....are there others in the pipeline and if so are they all going to be Nissan. (On the bottome of my red and silver boxes it says 'Nissan Offical Lincence Product'

I would think the reverse. With the electronic features and chunky parts, I'd think it was intended to be the big-ticket gift for kids to compete with things like Robosapien.
Kids get expensive toys, too.

Nice. Wonder if Black Convoy is going to be a Cybertron or a Destron? On one hand he does have a Cybertron symbol on him and most Takara Black Convoy's have been Cybertrons... and a few have also used the red Destron eye coloring instead of the blue Cybertron eye coloring. Either way he's mine.
Megatron... Megatron... well, he's just not Megatron to me. Other then the fact that he's being called Megatron I really like the figure. I'll just call him something else.
