SoundMaster:
I'll have to pick this guy up someday along with silver Convoy.
I love the swords.
Railguard:
This one looks great too!!!
harrismonkey:
I'm fine with less die-cast. Honestly I wish my convoy had less (or more). I loved how my BT's had die-cast bodies. But since Convoy had a plastic body, all the die-cast did was made the toy unnecessarily heavy and badly balanced.
Besides, I'm a much bigger fan of the full body paint aps (which this has) than the actual die-cast

Yeah, I'm thrilled with the figure overall, I just wanted to make sure it got pointed out, since I know there were some people who were less than thrilled with how little diecast was present on Convoy. It really is an outstanding figure, and the head looks much better up close and in person.

Megatron looks great. I hope they continue with the Alternity line.
JacobPGalvatron:
As awesome as it is, I know not where to purchase it nor the cost.
I will assume it is out of my price range.
Crud.

BBTS sold out of their preorder a while ago (on the reviewed grey version- they have blue now). It cost $40-50 plus shipping (I'd have to look). One of the less popular importer online toy shops might still have some, and I'm sure there are a few on ebay (where I used to get all my japanese TF until I discovered bbts).
jpjbwars:
i gotta say as awesome as my alternity convoy is I just love megs soooo much more. maybe its sword lust or just that samurai feel but he just looks so damn cool. There has to be a million things you can do to those shoulders all of which look good lol. It is funny how much better balanced he is too considering how much thinner his legs are than convoys too. Great review!
Blitz.:
awesome. Now I'm just thinking of what else they could do in this range since TakaraTomy has a habbit of not really continuing such little lines. *waits Rodimus infiniti g37*
LightningZERO:
Cool. I will get mine soon!

really a shame. these things might actually be better than the BT/Alt's were. The actual robot sculpts weren't anywhere near this nicely done until the very tail end of that line.
Z.U.D.O.N:
Great figure. I think Alternity Megatron is better than Alternity Convoy in a lot of ways, especially the design of the legs. Much better IMO. However, I prefer the way the doors were folded "up" for Alternity Convoy. For Alternity Megatron having the doors sticking downwards is quite awkward IMO. Another bad thing about Alternity Megatron I notice is that for his head you can clearly see the metal "sheet" behind his face, which I don't like.. >.<"
But overall, much better than Alternity Convoy. And you have certainly pointed out the greatness of the figure! Great review Peaugh!

Awesome! I love hearing stories like these
frenzy_rumble:
just got mine about an hour ago, got an awesome idea for him. I can't seem to pose him in any cool poses though, VERY top heavy and the hip joints are weak.
mugen_prime:
Would love to get these guys, but $50+ for a deluxe size figure just doesn't fit my finances right now.

Weird, I had a similar issue with my Alternity Convoy, but my Alternity Megatron is rock solid. Must be a QC thing with those hip ratchets.
OmegaConvoy117:
sweet fig, too bad i dont collect the binaltech/alterinty line =/(i know i spelled it wrong)
