Judging by the box art, the Diamond Black Alternity Megatron figure may actually have the 'Con symbol tampoed on his waist.
The box art for the silver and blue versions didn't have their faction insignia and neither did the figures. I wonder why.

Nice. The hi-res images are amusing - didn't realise the photoshop work was quite so crude! Still, all good ... pre-ordered this one from HLJ, first time I've ever felt inclined to get a repaint. Alternity Megs is a really excellent figure.

Let me ge this straight Alternity is about Convoys (Optimus Prime) and Megatrons from different universes in same body type but different color scheme.
That makes 1 silver, 1 red and 1 black Convoy and 1 silver, 1 blue and 1 black Megatron.
So factions entirely composed of Primes and Megatrons. That is so weird.

Just recieved the silver Megatron this morning from UPS, I am happy with the silver, hides the dust better than black. These are a little smaller than I thought, but very nice alt modes. Now to find a red Convoy

Nope, the next Alternity is Bumblebee/Cliffjumper. Instead of the new mold x4, repaint, repaint Takara is going with the new mold-repaint-repaint move on to next mold strategy.

Of coarse it does. Bludgeon is the only TF that has ever had a Samurai look up until now.
I like this line a lot. I hope they keep things going for quite awhile with them. I was hoping even more that the Samurai theme would continue a bit with all the figures, but the artwork for Alty BB definitely doesn't have any Samurai look to it. Not that I can recognize anyways.
Maybe just the Decepticons are Samurai looking? Maybe just Megatron? Hopefully the 4th figure will be all Samurai'd up.

I have the Silver and the Blue one and all three colors of the Convoy...I love them all! I absolutely hated the piks I saw of the Blue Megs but having him in hand is a TOTALLY different story!

These Alternity figures just don't appeal to me.
With the swords and colors they picked and the overall design of the figure it reminds me of Bludgeon.
