Pretty much this. I was gonna get both, but I've had some issues with Prime and Megs that pretty much mean I'm not even gonna gamble with either.

The chest honestly doesn't bug me what so ever. I donno why, but it hardly seems like that big a deal for everything the figure is doing in alt-mode.
I donno if I want to blow $50 on him, mostly because I'm broke at the moment...But I like this figure. Especially Cliff, he looks real snazzy.
I don't think it's really that "OMG nO WaNT No" bad.

So do I, thus, I second this statement. I mean, really, that is one awesome shade of red 'Jumpers got on him. If I wasn't sold on his Robot mode (which I'm not I think it's pretty good actually) I'd get him solely for his vehicle mode. ...The red is just that gorgeous.
Needless to say I'm sold on these guys. Cliffjumper mostly because he's finall getting his own headmold this time around. Bumblebee, on the other hand I may pass on since I'm pretty happy with his Classics/Universe figure.

Ugh. While they're at it they should have just named them Tubhuffer and BubbleButt. That torso kills any pros for this figure outside alt mode. They couldn't fold anything inward? That pistol is just way too small for such...bulky bots.

I'm disappointed with the shade they went with on Bumblebee. It's very cool lemon. The colour on Henkei Bee looks so much better.
And Cliffjumper's red looks surprisingly good.
The designs are still awful, but I already knew that.

Such a shame - the rest of the body is great.
But then I like anything that vaguely resembles the 'real' Bumblebee: i.e. not the godawful movie figure.

love them! I normally dont like "cute" robots but these are cool. Bumblebee looks G1ish and the paint app for cliff jumper is awesome. I like the whole alternity line so far, one can only hope there is more to come

I actually like Cliffjumper the best. The design is alright, yeah the chest is a bit big but not big enough to bug me.
Is there any legit reason Hasbro cant release them in the US under Alternators line? Since Hasbro definitely isnt going to spend the money to reaquire rights to older model cars. They're nice but not for the expensive price they are.

I don't know how the very simple Classics Bumblebee is a less 'lazy' design than the much more complicated Alternity figure.

You do realize the color has to be accurate to what yellow the car is produced in, so complain to Suzuki for coloring their Swift Turbo car a different color than Henkei Bumblebee.
I personally think these guys look great and can't see where so much hate comes from. They're really great Alternator/Binaltech/Alternity styled figures of these two popular characters. I can't wait to get mine!

I don't care for these, though I would be curious to see how they compare to Classics Bumblebee and/or Cliffjumper though. (I suspect there will be some looking into the idea of transplanting Alternity CJ's head on Classics' shoulders)
