Black Convoy will make a great addition to my collection & my Black Detolf. I couldn't care less about Megs! I convince myself not buy 2 Black Convoys to save $ but I'm not sure.

I think the Megatron would be better if he was a darker grey

It all looks just, just beautiful.

Picked mine up today.

- Megatron has got less die cast than Convoy. Only the black parts in the engine bay (which form the insides of the chest) are die cast. Unlike GT-R Convoy, the hinge piece on the middle underside of the car (which forms the back portion behind the abs in bot mode is plastic). I suppose this could have been done for stability reasons since Megs doesn't balance very well in bot mode.

- No Decepticon logo anywhere on the figure. There's a spot in the middle of waist which looks ideal for it but they ended up not tampoing it on at all.

- According to the story/tech spec section of the instruction sheet, it seems the blue version is known as Master Therion.

gawd bad time to be broke! plus im going out of country. when i get back in a month all three will be mine!

Is there any hint of them making more characters? Alternity is all I really look forward to these days.

I sure hope so. Ever since Alts were cancelled, it is all I look forward to as well. There is a lot of potential as long as they are not limited to Nissan Automobiles.

I dont want to sound pessimistic, but given Takara/Tomy track record of sublines, i doubt they will make anymore... we should have heard about them already! Plus, given the several delays both figures had, i dont think they care that much about those...

You're probably right unless they were just waiting for all the movie crap to come and go but I hate to agree with you, the fact they made Prime and Megs first, makes me think it was a one time thing. Oh well. It's still nice to see a couple of high quality die-cast bots.

Just got Black Convoy from Yodobashi Akiba here in Japan. He's damn awesome looking, I had never gotten an Alternity figure before, but I'm quite pleased with my first. I was hoping to at least see the silver Megatron, but it was completely sold out (at Yodo at least) within 24 hours!!!! AND to give an idea of how many they would have had, there were about 80 Primes sitting there when I got mine. Ridiculous...

Did you try the 4th floor Yellow Hobby Submarine (next to Kaiyodo) near the Akiba train station (radio building)? They usually have hard to find Transformer new releases after other chains (like Yodo Akiba) sell out.

I have to get Megatron!!! I'm so broke after buying Human Alliance Bumblebee T.T
