TFW's Age of Extinction Stinger (Japanese Exclusive) Gallery

Posted on 02-20-2015 at 04:04 PM by Sol Fury under Transformers Movie Toys & Products (All Transformers Movie News)
Stinger-Robot-36 We have a new in-hand Transformers gallery for you. Hailing from the movie series by way of a Japan exclusive repaint, we have the Stinger! Stinger features in Transformers Age of Extinction as a human-built Transformer, designed as a Bumblebee clone. With a striking and sinister red color scheme, Cliffjumper this is not!

Stinger is a straight-up redeco of the Age of Extinction new Camaro Bumblebee, which means the robot mode is more or less spot on for the appearance of the robot mode, although obviously the vehicle mode is not the on-screen Pagani. This may or may not prove to be a dealbreaker, as the deco itself is excellent, and we'd imagine most people would display in the robot mode, which looks great.

You can check out the full gallery of this Japanese market exclusive at the link below:

Sea of Rust Wins Fan Built Combiner Origin Category!

Posted on 02-20-2015 at 08:52 AM by Mechafire under Generations / Classics
rustsea1 The second round of Fan Built Combiner voting has come to a close, and with it, comes the announcement of which option won out in the origin category: the Sea of Rust!

Perhaps being the most unique of the three options presented (the others being Iacon and Kaon), it's also worth noting that the Sea of Rust gained the largest applause when questioned as to the combiner's origin at Toy Fair. The combiner and his/her component members will presumably hail from the Sea of Rust in his/her bio and whatever fiction he/she is featured in.

Be on the lookout for the third and final round, which is speculated to include the highly-anticipated gender option!

300px-LostBell_Oaken_Crow Avast there mateys! Zap2it has updated with a description and title for the 15th episode of Transformers Rescue Bots Season 3. The new episode is to be titled "Pirates Ahoy", and will feature the Burns family rescue operations being suspended when it is discovered that the family are descended from pirates!

There is no airdate given for the episode as yet, but common thought suggests it may be airing on 28 March, given that new episodes are starting as of 28 February and that would give a new episode every Saturday.

Transformers: Legends Game Event - “Knights Of Unicron” Has Begun!

Posted on 02-19-2015 at 12:05 PM by Matty under Video Games
tumblr_inline_njzmf3UGkv1slbwep The next DeNA Transformers: Legends event; “Knights Of Unicron” is now live!

Here's the official description from the Transformers Legends team:

Even before they were the hottest band in the universe, the Knights of Unicron were still the stuff of legends. Loved by fans from Antilla to Zarak, these true metalheads shredded like no one else could. With the powerful riffs of MEGATRON and SOUNDWAVE, and the crazy vocals from OPTIMUS PRIME, nothing was going to stand in their way, not tonight!

After years of melting faces and blowing roofs off of houses, the Knights of Unicron found themselves in need of new talent and possibly a new pecking order. MEGATRON and OPTIMUS PRIME both vied for the position of frontman and lead singer, each claiming to have the touch.

Into this entered young AUTOBOT JAZZ. An up and coming musician known for his smooth grooves, AUTOBOT JAZZ was eager to prove himself in the Cybertronian music scene. He went to the Knights of Unicron audition with his friends LASERBEAK AND RATBAT in hand, to show the Knights what they could do.

Will AUTOBOT JAZZ and LASERBEAK AND RATBAT make it into the band? Will they win, if they dare? Can the group stand withstand the turmoil within their ranks? How will this look on CH1’s “Behind the Digital Audio File”? Find out on TRANSFORMERS Legends - “Knights of Unicron”!

Dear TRANSFORMERS Legends Fans,

Please be aware that with the arrival of the Ultra Legendary reward cards, like the mighty MENASOR, the difficulty of our events have increased to rise to the challenge of these and the other, more powerful cards!

Roll out,

TRANSFORMERS Legends Team
