Transformers: Robots In Disguise Cast & Crew Interviews On Afterbuzz TV

Posted on 05-04-2015 at 08:13 AM by SilverOptimus under Robots In Disguise (201x)
Transformers-Robots-In-Disguise Here's something which flew under our radar until a TFW2005 fan from Twitter kindly pointed us in the right direction.

It seems as though for almost every episode of Transformers: Robots In Disguise being aired in US, popular You Tube show Afterbuzz TV had been doing reviews and special interviews with the creators and cast of the show. Special shout-out should be given to Megan Salinas, Emma Fyffe, Alexis Torres, and Katie Cullen for hosting the show with great content.

So far the following videos are available on You Tube:
  • Episode 1
  • Episode 3 & 4: Mitchell Whitfield (Voice Actor for Fixit) and Roger Craig Smith (Voice Actor for Minicons).
  • Episode 5: Director Todd Waterman and Supervising Director Dave Hartman.
  • Episode 6: Concept artists and Designers Jose Lopez, Augusto Barranco, and Walter Gatus.

You find some cool info in there such as how the character design processes went, what happens during voice acting and what is the future for the show. One of the tidbits revealed was the fact that the team is now halfway through making Season 2.

We've embedded the videos with this news post. Take a look at them, after the jump. Don't forget to leave a comment.

A Guide To The Transformers: Robots In Disguise Mobile Game App Update

Posted on 05-03-2015 at 10:00 AM by SilverOptimus under Robots In Disguise (201x)
Transformers-Robots-In-Disguise-Mobile-Game-App-Version-12-Android-iOS Few days ago we reported the new update (version 1.2) for the Transformers: Robots In Disguise mobile game. We then took our time to analyze what this update is bringing us. To our surprise, the game update contains quite a lot of new content. It seems as though the new app update for Transformers: Robots In Disguise is more than meets the eye, so we decided to dig into the new update to see what the game has to offer.

With the update, we have received further confirmation of several upcoming sublines for RID. Not only that, a new game mode is also included, with Hasbro telling us what a future update will bring us as well.

You can find out all that and more, after the jump.

Q-Transformers Club at DECKS Tokyo Beach

Posted on 05-03-2015 at 02:10 AM by C310 Ginrai under Japanese Transformers
10996074_607419972693939_1936930331356170079_n Thanks to Autobase Aichi on Facebook, we have photos of the DECKS x QTF event at DECKS Tokyo Beach. We get a glimpse of QTransformers merchandise being offered, including keychains, pins, T Shirts, as well as themed dipping dots ice cream beverages including Bumblebee Mango, Optimus Prime Blue, and Lockdown Berry, served with their respective coasters.

The Q-Transformers figures are also on display, including the Convoy and Megatron that was just released. An oversize QTF Bumblebee, along with a G1 Optimus Statue were also seen on site too. If you're in Japan, or plan on traveling in Tokyo before May 17th, definitely worth a trip to visit.

Comparison Pictures of Masterpiece Tracks and Road Rage Prototypes

Posted on 05-03-2015 at 12:34 AM by Sentinel under Transformers Masterpiece
image TAG Hobby has posted some side-by-side comparison pictures of the upcoming TakaraTomy MP-25 Tracks and MP-26 Road Rage.

These pictures highlight the changes made to the Tracks mold to create the female character Road Rage. You can do a direct comparison between the two figures to see:

-slimmer, more rounded hips/pelvis
-streamlined thighs
-redesigned biceps to add more detail
-new face and head
-new collarbone/upper chest???

She also comes with the G1 toy-accurate gun that originally came with Tracks.

Takara has gone to a lot of effort and utilized some fairly significant retooling to create a new character that holds the distinction of being the first (hopefully of many) female Masterpiece figure.

Sound off in the discussion thread to let us know what you think about the differences between the two molds or if you see anything I've missed.
