Hope it's fully articulated, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be. If they don't make a new cab, at the very least I hope this is compatible with Classics Prime.

AH, I think we are looking at an articulated Super Ginrai here using the original Godmaster/Powermaster as the core body part with an articulated super form.

..which could potentially interest me. However, their production quality needs to make a giant leap up from their previous work.

Doesn't the PM prime trailer already fit the '84 Prime and the Powermaster Prime as an inner bot? I get this one can too. While they may be G1 molds, the have been reissued enough to be common.

Will be interested if this includes God bomber! However, my original PM Prime has been with me nearly 2 decades and is still minty so I'll be cautious with putting it in 3rd party gear.

Given how PM Prime combines with his trailer, I imagine just making an extra plastic cube instead of needing G1 Prime would be a lot better and would probably sell more as a stand alone toy than an add on kit for a 20 year old toy.

If all you need is a cube inside that's vaguely prime cap shaped, probably any G1 prime reissue would work.

Been wanting a new Powermaster Prime for some time, but using the G1 cab, not sure how I feel about that. Perhaps it's just a place holder and they are making the whole thing.

So they are using the other classics optimus mold? (dlx)

I'm surprised these guys have cash left after the flop that was Grand Patriot. I guess moulds and making toys doesn't cost the millions people want to believe they do. lol

I can't make out the picture but if what Exo says is true that is col. No one has used the deluxe Classics Prime yet.

really as soon as i start thinking about replacing my junker Powermaster this news has to break and raise the price/demand for it.

Hm, definitely the PM Prime cab. Maybe the trailer can work for both the PM and Classics version.

Even as crappy as that picture is (hardly enough to call news IMO, but whatever), you can definitely tell that it's the G1 PM Prime cab.

Honestly though, how wonderful does a mold have to be to sit in the middle of the armored 3rd party form and do nothing?

Very interested by this. Also I really like the idea of it using the G1 cab. Hopefully bot mode will have a very 1988 aesthetic with added articulation. I have no interest in a classics version. None whatsoever. They do nothing but bore me nowadays.

I hope this is an upgrade for the PM Prime cab.

Given how terribad their first and (so far) only offering was...I don't think it's wise for these guys to be joking around like that. If they want folks to be interested in a new product, they've got a lot of convincing to do.

One good product and a positive video review will put them back on the map.

It will have to be more than a good product. It will have to be pretty top of the line for it to be considered, at least for me.

The standards of third party products are (or should) be rising due to the increasing amount of offerings we have. We've got choices now.

I would have preferred a solid powermaster/ god ginrai articulated armor offering to the modern Optimus Prime toys, Like the war for cybertron deluxe, reveal the shield laser rod Prime deluxe, Animated Voyager, Animated battle pack deluxe, or the Classics voyager.

There is nothing wrong with powermaster Optimus prime. A upgrade kit to the actual Original Optimus Prime, is veering into crazy devy territory.

Its great if you have a junker. But I have a complete loose Powermaster Prime on my shelf so that is all I need. Dude has enough articulation. And his Trailer battle base mode is one of my favorites only when its fully sticker-ed up.

Hopefully this will turn out to be whole lot better that Xovergen. It will be interesting if takara will released power master based on MP-10.

I hope this will be something good, so my PM junker can enjoy a 'second spring'.

Hmm my G1 Powermaster Prime is still in decent shape and he's on permanent display so i'm not sure if i want to take that apart to use here. It would have been better if they used the Classics prime as the basebody, or provide some insert cube body.

I wonder if it will support multiple cabs. The original Powermaster Prime basically had the cab be a block that sat in the middle of the body. YOu could design that to fit any old block of a range of sizes.

Posting that pic with Classics Prime really makes me hope this will be armor for him. If the design is right, this thing is bought!

I dunno, those "one size fits all" solutions never seem to work out so great.
