Courtesy of our sponsors TFSource, we have some images of ToyWorld’s Corelock to share with you. Corelock is an unofficial Grimlock, and forms the torso of the five-member dino-combiner that ToyWorld is releasing. These images show off Corelock in his fully decoed state – he is expected to come out in May, with a price of $149.95, with the higher price owing to Corelock coming with the various parts needed to complete the final combined form.
Thanks again to TFSource for the heads up – see their preorders for all ToyWorld’s products here.
EDIT – now available to preorder at TFSource and Big Bad Toy Store

Can anyone cast his head? I need one for a custom
Rikerwota
I've always wanted a different dino head for this guy. I don't suppose anyone knows of any custom or shapeways alternatives?

So I picked this guy and Iron Dreg up from Action Robo's spring sale. I dig! He feels more solid than my MP Grimmy, and I mostly don't mind the little things like his gold toes and red dino butt. However, his dino hands drive me nuts. Has anyone had any luck popping the pins out and flipping the middle one around?
MekaGojira3k
I don't think so. I just wish I could somehow replace that arm. It was such a bummer because I was so excited about him.
Cheebs
Man, I forgot about this guy. Taken as a stand-alone figure, this might still be my favorite Classics Grimlock design.

Same thing happened to me. Wayyyy too tight in the finger joints. I super glued it back on definitely a blemish on a great figure.
Krooked
Was it used?

Picked this dude up at a con yesterday, really loved him, until like…the hand snapped off. I was just moving the claws and then, bam. I'm pretty bummed about it, not sure if it can be fixed, and the peg is still stuck in there, it looks like the chrome is gummed up in there as well.

Opened my grimshell yesterday. Very nice figure, but with a couple problems. The ratchets overall are too tight. In the hips/crotch area is a large spring that is a bit too large, so there isn't enough give for the ratchets to work.
My figure also came with two sets of upper thigh/hip pieces for the right leg. This means the left leg either has to be assembled backwards which will show a screw from the front, or it needs to be installed backwards which limits the range of motion of the leg. I've emailed BBTS to see if they can swap out the part for me.

I have never popped a pin before, and doing so in a chromed area has me super nervous.
Razor24
Yeah not sure when they decided to flip it… Even the TF Source pics still had them all in the same direction. I don't mind it myself but if you prefer the original look it shouldn't be too hard to pop the pin out and change the orientation of the middle claw.

Bummer. I liked how it looked originally.
Razor24
yup that's how mine is and every other pic/vid I've seen

Just got Grimshell. Are his dino mode claws supposed to be like this? On the back of the box they look more like masterpiece Grimlock. I was expecting the claws to all be facing the same way.
Darkprime
I wish the neck wasn't so long. If only they made that gold chrome section half gold and half grey, it would look so much better.

Those of you that have this guy, where are you putting the symbols in both modes?
Behind the smoked plastic on his chest would be perfect, but you can barely see through it?

I got mine yesterday. That's one really big box! They could have made it a bit smaller

Two questions. First, before I make a decision I can't take back, are the screw covers intended to be glued on? More specifically, the gold ones for the underside of the dino neck that don't stay in place super well.
Second, in robot mode there are grey pieces inside the feet (well, inside the lower legs) that fold down, what do they do? They are not for stability, as they do not fold all the way down.
My questions aside, holy hell this thing is great.
