TFClub Custom Toys New Images

TFClub (registration required) posted some new images of some of their upcoming custom Transformers items. On show is the TFC-EX05 Primars, the superdeformed Optimus Prime toy, this time with a faceplate. Joining him is an image of the TFC-EX06 Custom Devastator's right arm, plus the now-named Headmaster Optimus Prime and Soundwave figures. These two are to be called "Junkion Blacksmith" 01 and 02, and are modeled on their Generation 1 incarnations, with Headmaster heads based on their classic heads as well as classic style robot and vehicle modes. Only the unpainted heads are seen this time out, so check out our earlier coverage for more information. Also on show are the "Targetroids", the Targetmaster versions of these. They take classic characters and have them turn from robots into guns. Shown so far are Optimus Prime, Megatron, Rodimus and Starscream.

Please remember these are all unofficial custom pieces, and as such are not officially licensed or safety tested by Hasbro or Takara-Tomy.

protector,devastator, and the target masters are definate buys for me just wish we had releases for alot of those items

So want for that Protector armor to hurry and be released. Interested in the Constructicon arm. Will there be six Constructicons released? Targetmasters look nice enough but I don't see the purpose of them being Targetmasters. Would have been cool if they'd done all the original Targetmaster Nebulans' instead.

I'm really digging that Devastator arm. But the side view - wow its RIVETED with screws. I hope they can cover some of that up in the end product but otherwise paint me EXCITED for an original Devastator. That would be a phenomenal undertaking and a heavy blow to the wallet.

those Targetroids look pretty sweet... are they available for preorder already? and that Devastator arm looks cool, but i wanna see the whole thing done before i start buying parts... i'd hate to have 1 or 2 pieces, then see it never finished...

Holy Hell, Devy's arm is ginormous! There goes even the slimmest chance I had of being able to afford it. Because at that size, the whole thing will probably easily pass 600 bucks. Although, I'd LOVE to be wrong.

What is 2-up? As in size? I hope not, I want this thing to be huge... I will save for it, no matter the cost. Unless its executed poorly of course.

A prototype made at twice the size of the finished piece. Also common are 3 ups, which are three times the size.

No. Scale estimates from previous photos put the toy at a large Deluxe size.

2-ups are impractical for Transformers prototypes, because they don't accurately reflect the engineering constraints. What works at that scale won't necessarily work at half the size.

Ugh.. that lonely Devastator arm with nothing to swing from.

The build up for seeing another arm, or even a lonely leg, for a figure has never been so great. I can see it now... a "hot" thread with the title "DEVASTATOR'S CROTCH REVEALED!!"

The 3rd party stuff sure has been keeping up the quality level though. Those targetmaster figures are definitely interesting.

With an every other month release schedule that's quite doable financially. Heck anywhere between $50 - 100 every other month isn't too bad.

Yeah I agree. How many times are we gonna see just this arm and nothing else? I realize there's a lot of work involved with something of this nature, but it would be nice to see some sign that the work is going to result in a genuine payoff and not something where everybody will order the first toy, then we never see any sign of anything else.

As far as I know, they can attach to any G1 Headmaster body...
Prime himself not only can turn into a head, but also has a truck mode.

Looks like the Megatron's gun mode didn't turn out as great as I would have feared. Mastershooter Mega-Gun and Brown-King don't look to have anything to worry about.

no. one is soundwave and transformers into head and figure.

the other is prime that transform to figure i think and truck and head.

i wonder since there are 3 seekers standing there for the targetmasters if we are getting ss, sw and tc.

Man, the more I see of Protector the less I want it. It looks okay, but next to MP Rodimus I just can't find any excitement for this one anymore. I'm thinking about canceling my pre-order.
