TFC Toys Reflector In Hand Images

I'll keep my PE Reflector. Only appeal of this to me is the incredibly realistic alt mode. But the bot modes don't do it for me; they don't even look that much like G1 Relector. Only similarity are the green chest bits.

They're ........ok.....will keep the PE version .....for now...

This makes me sad, TFC fail on this.

ummm, no thanks not in my collection. PE reflector is superior to this. I wouldn't mind an oversized PE Reflector though.

Something about this is not clicking for me. I'm thinking its the robot deco.

do you mean that rainbow colored ko? that would take a lot of customizing to make it any good. I've seen some amazing customs people made with the ko, but I am not that skilled at customizing.

Once again, awesome alt mode. No question about that. But the character-original take on these guys in bot mode leaves something to be desired. Not that they look horrible or anything, but they just don't appeal to the G1 design purist in me (I suppose I'm not alone on this). Good effort by TFC though.

It's a nice "realistic looking camera that transforms device-bot", but hardly anything that should be considered "Reflector".

I'm sticking with PE

They do look really good.. This is a tough decision; neither this nor the PE version is perfect, but they're both really awesome in different ways..

Not feeling that black. I understand why, for the camera, but still not feeling it for the bot modes.

Yikes... The last time I saw something this bad was Sonicron... This isn't that bad but still...ehhhh....

With all the great things shown today, I'm afraid these have been pushed far down my want list. Gotta make some sacrifices to afford 3 god damn 3rd party combiners + Hexatron + Assaulter ++++

And I bet if they released them in proper G1 Colors... a good number of folks stating otherwise would bite. I'd not be the least bit suprised if they did re-release a G1 Schemed version soon after for that matter.

I think they look pretty good. The alt mode, in particular is fantastic. The bot modes' sculpt could've possibly been made to be a bit closer to the G1 figures I guess. I'm sure someone will cast Reflector heads for this as soon as it's out. Watch.

The only thing that would make this better would be if all the camera bits formed the crazy/cool weapons the PE Reflector set had.

I really like the look of these guys. I kinda like the fact that they don't look exactly like the G1 Reflector. The only thing I'm worried about is the price

I think these look great. i don't mind that they don't look like the G1 figs. sometimes that's not a bad thing.

I'll be honest. I don't like them. It's not the colours (although they don't really work for me), nor is it the fact that they aren't accurate to the G1 designs (that isn't a minus for me at all, unlike some people). I think it's the simplicity. Sure, the Hercules figures are simplistic, but you get Hercules out of it, and they have plenty of little gimmicks.

I have the Perfect Effect Scouting Force X guys, and what I like so much about them is that, despite the robots all being identical (apart from the colour on their wrists), after equipping them with all their accessories, they look drastically different and unique, whilst still being somewhat uniform.

Here, we have two robots who are identical (apart from accessories, it appears, but the accessories look kind of bare-bones and boring), and a third that is unique but also kind of lacking.

Now, this is just my opinion, but I think the Perfect Effect version strikes a much better balance than the TFC Toys one. I also can't stand the TFC alt mode. I much prefer the Perfect Effect camera, as it looks a bit less realistic, but also a bit less like a camera knock-off, yet still passable as a camera. If that makes sense.

I'm sure someone will paint these up to be cartoon accurate at some point.

PE it is for me, glad I didn't wait around for these to come out before I bought them.

I think it's an awesome take on G1 Reflector. I prefer by far these colours and marvelous alt mode to the outdated G1. I also like the robots but, although not as simplistic as Perfect Effect, they are still quite simple.

That said I would pay $60 tops, not $95.5 as RK lists.

Can't wait for these to come out! I like that they're not slavishly copying G1.

Funny how there's such extreme opinions on this set. Maybe it won't sell that well and get on clearance on BBTS/TFsource

Perhaps. Just look at FP's G3 trailer, and thing is awesome (so awesome I'm getting a 2nd one).

With a little bit of clever molding or painting, they could keep the outside camera shell black, and more of the interior robot parts more G1 colored...

As is, it better be cheap for me to only want it to display in disguise mode

The Camera mode looks good. Bot modes need improvement.

Dunno if it's been mentioned yet, but the feet are backwards on the 2 smaller bots in these pics and vids.

I like these. While I'll miss all the awesome little weapons that come with Scouting Force X, I still love these bot modes and especially the realistic alt mode of this set. TFC's got my money.

These will be the same price as the Scouting Force X but 3-4x as big. Sold!

I never got the PE set. I really like this one so its a buy for me.

Neat, but not for me at the moment. If TFC decides to release this in a more G1 accurate color deco, I may consider it. For now, I'm perfectly happy with PE-11 Scouting Force X.

I think it's an absolutely amazing camera mode, but the figures just don't scream Reflector to me.
Looks like they'd fit in with the real gear range real well. That's not an insult, I love that range.

After I got PE Scouting Force X, I totally forgot about this. I wish I still forgot about these as they don't look anywhere near as good as Scouting Force X!
