TFC Toys has updated their Facebook with new images of their Rage of Hercules set. The set adds more parts to their Hercules combiner set including a new head with optional “rage” face, shoulder and forearm add-ons for a closer to Generation 1 look on the arms, plus a new different gun. Revealed in these images is that most of these combiner parts look like they can also double up as other parts, such as cabs or other vehicle bits – like Hercules itself, it seems his add-on will be a bit more than merely some spare parts used when combining.

These are to cover up screw holes. Sometimes they will have a little slant on the flat end so you can orient them accordingly.

So I recently got my first 3 parts of TFC toys Hercules, and aside from the heels in Dr crank and exgraver, I really enjoy them, but I do have one thing that’s confusing me, what are the little grey bits that come with exgraver for?View attachment 29816927

Same here. No matter how evolved third party combiners now are, my Hercules will always have a special place in my heart. He is my first, third party combiner. and I afforded him, with the final salary I got before I was laid off by my employer whom I refuse to be in cohorts with. They asked me to sign falsified documents to let illegals work at our battery factory. I refused as that is a criminal offence and I might go to jail for it. they threatened to fire me under the clause of insubordination. I counter threat them by saying I got everything on tape and if they dont pay me triple my salary, I'll turn them to the cops. they paid me in cash and I handed the tape to them. it was a mixtape, made during my college (00-04) years. Have fun listening to Gin Blossom bitches.

If memory serves, you should be fine. The Perseus deco was released after the 2nd version of Hercules I believe

Hi, I've recently acquired a used copy of this set and unfortunately it appears that my Exgraver has two left hip parts. Does anyone happen to be in the opposite situation? I would gladly swap one with somebody.
Thinkinboutbots
I recently ordered the Perseus deco from TFSafari and only just found out about the issues of Hercules's mold today. Does anyone know if Perseus uses the repaired second run? Or will I have to find some of the old hip replacements? Should I cancel my order? It's probably still in China given the present situation.

I too am having issues removing the rage kit. In fact I'm having issues putting him together to begin with.
MrUniqZ did you use shock oil before attaching the kit? I love this set and don't want to break him.
I think a part of the problem is I have a bunch of mold flashing in his ports. Before I start trimming things can anyone confirm if these are supposed to be there?
Optimist_Prime
On Facebook. I thought about offering the guy only $100, but I didn't want to be a dick.
Hougangkid
Where did you end up getting him from?
Optimist_Prime
Thanks for all the info guys! Just scored a complete boxed 2nd run for 120 shipped. Maybe a little to high, but at least I know what I'm getting. Now to grab the rage kit.
Also if anyone has the Excellent Toys Passion of Hercules heads for dirt cheap please let me know.

This thread lol.
At this point peeps should start posting some cool photos! If any of y’all still own ‘em :3 (I do!)

Black boxes? Do they look like the ones in my sales thread? If so those were the first edition.
daimchoc
It was big during its time.
deathsheadII
reading back on the first lot of pages and we all thought this was a big combiner
daimchoc
Are you by chance thinking of Perseus?

Black boxes? Haven't seen those before.
The original Hercules releases were in green boxes. These were the ones with problems such as Long Haul/Heavy Labor's pelvis joints not being lubed thus they'd grind themselves to pieces. The second edition silver box releases had most of the problems with the figures fixed and the update parts for some figures included with others in the first series release were instead packaged with their intended figures.
Always look for a silver box to make sure you're getting a good one.

I've seen Hercules packaged in both white and black boxes. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two releases?

Absolutely no problem , then my knowledge is poor compared to a lot of you and so I can't always be very accurate , is just that for me is still a "good toy" and has become very cheap and both things are important.
Gravity builder is more complex but something doesn't convince me on whole combiner design.About Constructor I already own a Concrete toy to use as my OC female witch Decepticon for 70/80's old truck design and giggling face but then I'd like to buy also a complete set for Constructor big robot as another Devastator.
