TFC Toys Perseus Final Boxed Images

I'm not really sure what I'm going to do here. I love Herc and TFC, but do I need a recolor? Looks pretty good though.

I was just thinking f starting this thread after I saw those pics. You know... I kind of like this more than Hercules. However I would fear it would look too similar next to Uranos deco-wise. Still... It looks pretty awesome.

Looks stunning but alas it shall not be a part of my collection.

I gave them my support with Hercules so I do not feel bad.


edit: One thing that really pisses me off is that red blade, now I know for fact there was no reason other than designer ego to give us that stupid black blade. This dead horse ain't dead enough.

Updated first post with previous images. I like that they even swapped the limbs to "mirror" Hercules.

i have no interest in 3rd party or shattered glass but DAMN, i would be on that if i had the money.

where I am at also. already got the green ver this is not as pressing as other releases coming down the pipe line.

I do like the swapped limbs as well. It changes things and is quite fun.

Damn, I need a price on this guy so I can try to talk myself out of it.

If they were smart they'd wait a year or two before releasing this. Soooo many other projects higher on the priority list than this (for me at least).

Where are these new images from? You sourced the old pics, but not the new ones?

Robot kingdom did say it was going to be sold as a gift set, so I'm curious if the price comes in closer to 450/500. I think they would be insane to charge the same price for Hercules right out of the gate when there isn't nearly as much interest in SG colors as there is G1.

The design is great, it looks great, I love the toys, but I can't pull the trigger on a second Hercules or any SG characters. I really hope it does well and fair play for TFC for giving the fans a truly niche version of one of the best toys I've bought in years.

Wow, he looks really good in these colors! It's a shame I won't buy it on the count that I just dropped my wallet on regular Herc AND Uranos is on the precipice of release, there just isn't enough money to go around!

I like those colors.

If the Uranus Project is the same scale, I can see some epic limb swaps there.

The first pic is the regular version. The second picture is the Rage set.

I love how neither version has the crane up on the shoulder.

So they named SG Version after another son of Zeus.

Just save up the same 90 every few months and then by the box set when you can. Don't see this one selling out any time ever, so you should be ok.

It's crazy just how much better this looks than Hercules because of a paint job.

I grabbed yellow Giant instead of Hercules. Depending on the price, and when it's released, I may have to get this. I'm really liking the colors.

As nice as the deco is... it's waaaay too expensive to purchase it again. Especially not with the TON of 3rd Party and Official stuff coming out in the next couple months. Really, I've been cancelling stuff from my BBTS PoL to make up for future purchases. (Dropped AM Unicron for example...)

Take it most folks aren't enamored with SG to the point of shelling some 500 bucks for this either. Better be that they're doing this in a limited run, because otherwise both TFC and retailers will be sitting on this set I'm afraid.

Wouldn't that be a good thing then? It'll eventually drop in price and will benefit the consumers in the long run.

Sorry if this threadjacks, but I own Herc with rage kit and some shapeways stuff, yellow giant, and green giant.


I never hesitated at buying the giant mold twice.

This looks good but I just don't love the mold enough to buy it again. It's not just the price; I don't think I'd pay 300 for this.

This gives me a good reason to buy the Herc mold now. Awesome.
