$40 !!!! and it looks very similar to the shapeways products I've seen

...yeah. And isn't Corbot's Axe like only $16? The Shapeways one is $17.50 total.

I was just looking at this. I don't recall the Shapeways version fitting in Megatron's hand (could be wrong), but this seems to have no problem. Regardless, fitting in his hand does not equal an additional $22.50 over the Shapeways version. $40 for this is nuts.

Still, I'd put money towards this before that Cyborgtron weapons kit that was put out recently.

The pricing is ridiculous, but straight ganking fakebuster's design was a dirtbag move.

Guys, guys, relax...I was not ganked; both of us were inspired by the same source of game art and we each made our own rendition of it. Now I don't know if SXS got one of my samples to take measurements from, it's hard to tell, but they still have to do a bit of work to make it manufacturable.

My Shapeways model is impossible to replicate under conventional injection molding techniques.

Well...you know what? I can easily make a variant of the Megamace with a new handle that fits stock WFC Megs, but that would be cheating...
