Rumor: FansProject Bruticus Maximus Appendage Kit & Protector Armor Release Date

Well, I guess considering Rodimus was the leader for the 2010 series in Japan, it's kind of fitting.

Bruticus ain't what I'm after. I crave for Protector Upgrade now & its excruciating having to wait that long for its release.

Someone suggest to them they make a couple of new heads for the scouts to give them a little more differentiation. That's why I passed on Superion.

Rather than heads, I just want them to make sure the heights will be the same so the sets can be mixed together. I am of course thinking of making sure they would be compatible to do on Nexus Maximus.

Why not both? Or a seperate add-on set of two new heads for any of the Energon combiner scouts?

Protector armor, early 2010, yessssss! Wouldn't mind a two piece scout head set. That would probably give me incentive to buy Bruticus and Superion Maximus.

Yes on the Bruticus set, I'll have to get 2 and get a 2nd Superion set so Nexus Prime can get some parts

I think the new head idea for the Scouts is a good thing, except for the issue with actually swapping them. If it isn't easy to swap them, then FP would probably avoid doing it. Really, only the CJ kit is the only thing they released that went as far as modding a figure. I know the modders here would argue that head swapping is hardly a mod, but still. I think FP is taking the route of only releasing stuff that Hasbro would perhaps like to do but doesn't for $$ reasons.

I would buy a Bruticus upgrade kit. And, as soon as I got it I would then demand they release a Nexus upgrade kit too. Cast in clear blue/red

I've been looking forward to Protector for a looong time! Can't wait to get that one. I'm VERY pleased to hear they're working on a Bruticus appendage set too!!! I'll definitely be getting that as well. Now we just need a Devastator set!!

Protector is out in early 2010.

That is only a few of months away. Yay. I will be buying two. One for Henkei Hot Rod and another to repaint into Shattered Glass Rodimus Prime.

No prob. I was surprised to get the email. I wrote them like, two months ago. The funny thing is, I've since gotten rid of all my FP stuff and the figures they go on. They figure out a "trailer" to put on the Classics Seeker mold to make a Classics Star Sabre (the seeker would need a recoloring) and that I'd go for.

Great news about the appendage. I have the Superion appendage for both Super Link versions and ROTF version (In SL he did have a brother so I like to consider both of them "brothers"). I'm happy with everything I've gotten from FP and I can't wait for the Protector set.

Seeing how there's been no production images but that ONE in vehicle mode, I don't see how entirely. I'm sure some of the parts will be add on pieces to Rodimus' body, but I can't see every piece being so.
